Rate the Ending

The highest option for everything up to the point Nia started to dissappear. I'll give a 7/10 to everything after that.

I'll give it a 10 purely because Simon gave Gimmy that drill.

Otherwise it'd be GAR. (Since no one's telling me what that means, I'll just bandwagon jump)

I have no ideea how to rate this episode so I voted the "impossible to quantify with numbers" option.

The episode was great,epic,emotional but at the same time I hated beyond imagination the fact that Nia died and even more..how Simon ended..from Commander Of All Humans to "I guess I am nobody"..it was an incredible blow to see him like that,old and alone..:(

I guess no one can defy time and the newer generations..:(

I'm pissed they killed at the goddamn wedding:mad I figured she had at least a few years left at the most, or rather I had hoped it was the case. She and Simon could possibly had had kids in that time.

The Action patrt of this episode was GAR out of 10, the rest however was a Gainax ending so like a 7/10. Balancing those two factors out I'd give it like an 8 out of 10.

Second part: 8/10...although it's the common "timeskip and aging" ending, it got me pretty bad.

The only thing that bothered me about the entire episode was how Simon ended up. Unless he was doing something amazing during those 20 years it seems like a stupid way to live his life. Kamina wouldn't have approved.

This, however was more than made up for by the fight...


But I guess the bandwagon thinks it sucks for some reason... losers.

Overall a 9/10. A lot of it was heart warming even though Simon chose a mediocre life over one of status.

I'm going 9 out of 10 too. Nia was amazing before her departure as was Genome.

It might have just been the fact that I realized the series was over, but I just didn't have the insanely warm feeling inside at the very end like I did for every single other episode...therefore no 10.

I was really happy though. Hearing about all of Gainax's other endings I was worried but I thought this was tied up quite nicely.

9/10. It was not a perfect ending to me because Nia died :cry and i could have gone without the epilogue, whether their faces looked like shit or not.
