I will never look at the galaxy and the universe the same way. GAR > Science

Lol, I am gonna try "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion".

Yeah, I know, its animation is completely different, with a serious, and dark tone. sort of reminds me of Gundam, but Gundam doesn't have "magical eyes". :LOS

Just watch more anime, I don't plan to buy TTGL when it comes here in america. I want to forget about it if Gainax doesn't make a sequel! My beloved Yoko ended an old maiden when they could have hook her with Simon! Oh well, she lived and went back to her children, that is what dil.. Eh big rifles are made for!

Gentlemen...it's time to move onto bigger and better things. A lot of exciting video games have come out and will come out before the end of the year. All systems are covered. An exciting new season of anime awaits as well. Yoko hentai will continue to come out for the next year and a half...so I am set Gurren Lagann-wise. Moving on will not be a problem for me.

Perhaps i'll delve into some good old mecha anime. Who knows.

Soon i'll be tying up the loose ends of the Spring Anime, starting to watch some Fall anime, and of course, watching other completed series.

there are still tons of anime I haven't seen yet.

But it will be very hard to find something that wins the devotion I gave Gurren-Lagann.

I was surprised at the G Gundam references in TTGL.

Anyway, on topic... I'll wait for the inevitable TTGL movies/remakes/alternate universe series. Eva was like TTGL, but with zero gar and a shitty ending, and look at all the crap it's spawned.

For those who haven't seen it, watch GUNBUSTER & DIEBUSTER. You will find out later that TTGL copied some elements from these two animes. (made by GAINAX also)

For now, I will take a break from watching anime and later will try to see old classics like Mazinkaiser, G Gundam & Gaogaigar. Man, TTGL got me pumped up for some Super Robot anime.... Hell yeah!

Peace!

I don't know what I'll do. There are a few things that interest me right now. And I'll certainly watch the second season of Code Geass, despite the fact that the ending will likely be a bad one. And the New Evas when I get the chance.

But, I dunno. I just feel burned out. I am angry about the ending, but I just....I can't explain it. Hell, maybe Gainax will release something that will make me feel better about the whole thing.

I wonder how many times after an epic show ended, I thought It was over for me. Tenchi, Blood+, Ironheart, Shana, Haruhi and even heroic age are a few of the show that gave me what I feel now with the end of TTGL. there have been many before. Don't worry, there will be a show that will give you the same feelings you just experienced now. It happens all the time, it might take time but it will happen. I have been watching anime for 8 years since 1999 and it never fails. It stays with you longer when the show has a good but bittersweet ending.

I am looking forward to the second season of Shana, the second season of Haruhi, Clanned, Rosarito Vampire and a few other shows.

I recommend GaoGaiGar to any and all of you who haven't seen it... that is, of course, unless you lack COURAGE!. The ending of both the main series and the entire OVA are just one long stream of kickass.

As for now, I think It will be a long time until something as good comes around...

You know, unless they do a Gurren Lagann 2... hint hint.

Oh, also, Code Geass isn't that great.

It will be hard for me to watch anime now since my expectations for awsomeness are now through the roof. It feels good being alive to witness the birth of this classic.

I'll continue to watch Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai, my second favorite anime besides Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Its amazing siries, but very different from TTGL.

I'm also currently watching Naruto Shippuuden... but that is universes away from our mind breaking TTGL. Its because I'm a fan of the Naruto manga which is actualy pretty good IMO.

I will never forget this series. I don't say this much for the fear of sounding like a noob, but this has to be one of the greatest animes of all time.

Oh dear, I take back what I said about GGG being less GAR than TTGL, I never realized that its franchise is so broad...All I remember from that series is an alien boy with freaking long hair, always wearing the same clothes, has green alien powers, and ifghts along a cyborg dude that looks like a lion. The dude's right or left eye has a detector or something, and his girlfriend loves pink. They belong to a good organization, useing mecha to fight enemies, one of them is a dude that looks like a bird; and later on the series, there's another child with red alien powers similar to the kid's. THE END

If that was a knock It didn't feel like one. The plot is pretty damn simplistic: Step 1) ZOMG ZONDER/PRIMEVAL Step 2) FINAL FUSION/SYMMETRICAL DOCKING STEP 3) BEAT THE THING... somehow. You forgot the yelling part by the way.
