Is Monster a anime worth watching ?

I saw on ANN in the top 10 the anime Monster, and had a great rank , is it worth downloading ? I never saw this anime mentioned anywhere else , and its 11gb so i would like to have some opinions about it :amuse

Well it's long and rather intelligent.

If you're more into shorter series or series about fighting with tits and giggles, this isn't the anime for you.

Quite simply, yes! It's one of the best series out there.

It definitely is worth the watch.

Its an awesome suspense/thriller/mystery anime that is not watered down by any fillers or bad animation that are common place in most long running series these days.

I just started to reread the manga myself. Its a bit confusing in parts if you don't pay attention, but it is something I would recommend to anyone who's into something more than just your basic shounen. Hell, I even got my mother and a girl from work to read it, and they both love it, and this is coming from non-anime fans.

Monster is one of the best thrillers ever, belivable characters in one of the best suspense stories ever.
The anime is really good too, 100% true to the manga(no fillers whatsoever) and the voices and the music really shows the mood of the story.

However i prefer the manga over the anime, because you can read it in your own pace(the anime can be a little slow at times)
Dosen't stop it from being a great anime though.

Is it definitely worth watching? Yes. It does tend to get a bit over-psychological but at least thats better then something mindless.
