It was when they were fighting the turtle, and the huge spiral drill came up. He led the fleet of Blue dai-Gurrans, he had a personality like Kamina, but less GAR and more stupid. He rammed the drill and supposedly died.

You know the village Gaume/Guame was gonna destroy in episode 11 before GARlock Simon came in.
The leader of that village came to help them when they were fighting that tornado.
