Viral has been feeling pretty pointless these past couple of episodes, with him admitting that he can't help Simon since he lacks the power of the Spiral. :/ But still, pretty good character overall.

Yeah, they would stay on Earth, always on watch for when the Anti-Spirals wtf pown them with their uber army. Meanwhile, the Earth would turn into a battleground, probably ensuring the death of most of the Earth's population. The brigade would never be able to win because they can never strike back at the Anti-Spirals properly. Eventually, the Earth would probably become crippled as the anti-spiral uses the resources of the universe to crush them.

I'll draw a comparison. Lets say a third party created an opening in the German defenses during DDay. Now, you'll be the person saying damn it, now people are going to die because we have to send forces to take advantage of that weakness.

Kamina, hands down. He gave great motivational speeches and his optimistic, positive mental attitude was initially the reason that the Dai-Gurren brigade were successful in defeating enemies. He epitomised the strong will of spiral power, until he passed it down to Simon.
