View Full Version : Ragnar vs Fordo
Space Wolve Captain Ragnar is armed with only a few krak grenades, his chainsword and a hand bolter pistol. Alpha-Class ARC Captain Fordo has his trusty dual heavy blaster pistols and electrocution gauntlet.
Who takes this?

Space Marines, particularly Veterans like Ragnar, are absurdly powerful physically. You can blow multiple limbs off and they'll still keep coming after you.

Ragnar is not more powerful then Durge. No SM Captain even touches on Durge. It took a star to kill him and Fordo has survived hits from him. And I can safely tell you that the standard ARC Troopers are faster then SM's.
So what will Ragnar due if his head is blow off or both his legs are instead?

Ragnar ripped off a tank's hatch off of its hinges, IIRC. And any proof that ARC Troopers are faster than SMs? They were more around peak-human level.

See Alpha's feats in the Clone Wars comics. Not too mention an ARC Lt blew up a TF Tank with just his blaster rifle in a few moments.

Scans or links?
I don't have scans or links. I have the Volumes though, 2 to 6.
CD, the CT trooper in the crimson karmas and pipping denoting the rank of Captain during the 2nd Battle of Coruscant with the Jagi Eyes is ARC Captain Fordo. Look at what he was doing to the Super Battle Droids when he was meleeing them.

Actually, Anakin simply decided to throw him into the star because it was the closest convenient way of getting rid of him forever, but anything involving complete vaporization (throwing him inside a volcano, a large enough explosion of any kind...) would have killed him at this point. Anakin himself points that Durge was weakened after he detonated half a dozen of Durge's own bombs. All his armour and a large percentage of his body mass had been blown away in the explosion. Durge is a scary regenerator, but unlike Wolverine doesn't appear to have unlimited energy reserves of whatever he uses to repair himself.

Wolverine uses the Meat Dimension.

He blew up a tank with a gun. How's that a feat for the guy? I mean, Ragnar tearing the door of a tank off is a feat for Ragnar. Him then blowing up the tank with some krak grenades-not so much.
And if they are so powerful, why didn't the Empire use them after the Clone Wars?

Because Null-Class Arcs are insane.
