Very Quick Gaara sketch

Did this in physics. It took 7 minutes. As they say, Art is a bang - Physics is a drag.

Very nice ! I love how you have done his eyes because they look really sad and worried. Therefore I dont like Gaaras hair for the simple reason that the seperate wisps look like feathers. You have made a good job on the shadings, though. It looks realistic compared to his hair.

Thank you. The hair is a bit strange, I'll grant you, but I draw characters with wispy hair that way quite alot.

Very nice for 7 mins especially. The hair and face don't coincide though in proportions, yes. Almost like there's too much hair to the left of his face, and too little on the right and the neck is a little thick. Other than that i like it. Nice.

nicely done eyes, he does look so very tired and sad with that frown. crosshatching with the shading looks cool. i actually really like the way you do hair, it looks like little bits of flame with the way it is darkened towards the tips. agreed about the left side perhaps having a bit too much hair. i think the ear might be going the slightest bit too low, but I like everything else.
