I think the flytrap goes down to his shoulders and then stops on the sides so his arms are free. The front and back may go all the way down to his waist, however. We know for a fact that his arms are outside of the flytrap because we've seen his hands coming out of his sleeves while Akatsuki was extracting Shukaku.

Hey! I just remembered just now that i actually dreamt about the Naruto manga (i have never actually dreamt about a manga before). Dunno exactly what happened, but you got to see Zetsu without his cape. The flytrap thingy extended down to his knees, but with holes for his arms, and it was openable all the way down (he had it closed below his chest, though). I guess i should try to draw it from memory :O

Look it's Tobi!!! lol Well, that's the kind of bird from which Tobi was most likely named. The only other "tobi's" are construction worker and jump/fly (these are the same word in Japanese somehow). So maybe Tobi stays with Zetsu, because Tobi is plotting and wants revenge on Zetsu for eating his entire kite bird family. T_T

Tobi is a construction worker! He erects scaffolding around Zetsu's flytrap (which is actually made of chicken wire and cement) and then fixes up any imperfections Zetsu might get from fighting, cleans off human blood, washes away soil from being underground, etc. He also does painting and is responsible for Zetsu's two-toned skin. I believe Zetsu pays Tobi around 500 yen an hour for his personal assistant work.

This all came straight from Kishimoto's mouth at a press conference.


EDIT: I just remembered that there is a character from Noein who is also named Tobi. O_o_O_o It just so happens that all of her associates also have bird names (Karasu, Kuina, Fukurou, Atori...). So I've come to the conclusion that Tobi is a girl from the Timespace called La Cryma and is following Zetsu around so he (ahem SHE) can bring him back to La Cryma in order to replace the Zetsu who has died in their parallel dimension. *bows* I win Naruto!! :nuts

I would love to join. Zetsu is just flatout one of the coolest characters ever. I say one of because he hasn't really done any cool techniques yet. Once he does some cool plant or vine technique, then he's officialy the coolest. I guess one of the reasons I like him is because he's the only one that I can cosplay.

Zetsu has finally made another appearance!!! He showed up somehow where Hidan and Kakuzu were and took Yugito. That was very unexpected, but at the same time, it makes sense. I was wondering what they would do with her if they weren't going to be going straight back to Akatsuki's base. It's still a bit odd, though, because they aren't doing the same thing that they did with Gaara and extract her demon right away... Oh well. Yay for Zetsu!!!

Zetsu is probably soooo excited about dinner. He can't wait until she's actually dead so he can eat her. I guess he likes to eat cats... he could make some General Tso's chicken out of her. What if he can't wait and eats her before he brings her to the leader? Everyone would tilt their heads to the side with their hands on their waists and say, "That's our Zetsu! ^_^" and then the ending credits to Full House would start scrolling. lol

Hey, cool! Thanks for posting that, Wrath. It looks much better than the Zetsu sprite that I made a long time ago (which can bee seen in my sig). He was one of the first ones I made and probably needs to be redone. The only thing I want to say about your Zetsu head that's wrong is that his eyes are the wrong color. They're supposed to be yellow. ^_^

Zetsu was the second sprite I ever made and was probably too difficult for me to try so early, especially with the flytrap. That was back in February, I think. You can tell that I've improved immensely. :nod

It's sad that not as many people come to this FC like they do with the other Akatsuki FCs, but Zetsu hasn't really shown any jutsu yet and I think that's what people are waiting for. Add to that the fact that I'm the owner of the FC and I don't like random spam in here so that's why the Zetsu FC is a little more dead than the others. I bet if you counted the spam posts in The Akatsuki FC alone, it would be half spam. People just have conversations about stupid stuff like their cat or something. This is a Zetsu fanclub so I want people to talk about Zetsu or AT LEAST about the series that he comes from. :nod
