How exactly? He has no attacks strong enough to harm him, he is no where near 1/10th as fast as him, and he doesn't have the endurance to put up with his attacks for a prolonged time.

I recently found a cutscene from the new FFVII game Crisis Core which shows Sephiroth having a fight with two SOLDIERs, First Class. I'm not sure if it will change anyone's opinion in this particular battle (vs Ichigo), but I think it's a nice display of Sephiroth's fighting ability. :)
