View Full Version : T-1000 vs. Spider-man

A Terminator model T-1000 is sent back in time to Marvel 616 New York to hunt down and kill Peter Parker.
Terminator initially knows nothing other than Peter's (real) name. T-1000 initially has no weapons, but can scavenge for whatever he can get.
Peter is unaware he's targeted until something tips him off. Peter is not allowed to go to anyone for support (Reed, Tony, Ultron), and will only have access to resources he normally does, or could conceivably steal/acquire.
Can Peter survive and find a way to (permanently) disable the T-1000? Or will he be just one more exterminated target?

Yes, Spider-man would win this with difficulty. Basically the real challenge wouldn't start until after he touched the T-1000, then once its able to look like Peter Parker, thats when he'll be in trouble.

Pete would eventually win but it would take a while before he can permanently take it down. I foresee much running away initially.

He could still go to the Baxter building and get equipment.
Reed isn't there right now so that is allowed right.

If Tony Stark isn't around he can go get his Iron Spider suit! Yay!
I see him win, he's smart enough to figure uot a way

That's not something he'd "normally have access to." Nor could he normally gain access to the Baxter building for a useful length of time.
Just 'cause he can't go to Reed for help doesn't mean that Reed doesn't exist in the fight.
As to the fight, the T-1000 likely won't skip to a direct confrontation, he'll find out some things (like the fact that Peter Parker is married to MJ), might go after her rather than him first (that's what he did in T2 at least).

But he could walk right in the Baxter Building, Johnny is his friend and the rest of the team were on his side during CW.
All he needs is a clever disguise :nod

Reed's not exactly his friend, and Reed's the one with the control over the security system.
Spidey can break into conventional research facilities without too much of a problem (assuming he wants to tread on that side of the law, which he has been known to do from time to time), but not into Reed's lab or Tony's (or Doom's, or anyone else that would laugh and call the T-1000 primitive).

What about Black Panther?
He has a plan to beat Galactus :omg
But seriously haven't the F4 been using Reeds lab while he has been away?
I haven't kept up with F4

He has gotten into Doom's, but I don't see him crawling into latveria on his own.

Last time he rode a plane I believe.
And he has gotten in to all their places at one point in time.

He got into Doom's while Doom was off busy being dead. That makes it a might easier ;)
And he got into a storage room, not Doom's high-tech robotics lab.

Doom was dead?
I remember him fighting Doom then having to retreat to some villagers house.
Or was that a Doombot?

Yes, they have, but then again Reed left BP there to help the F4.
BP didn't break in to the lab while Reed was on his second honeymoon and just take over.

Doom was in hell at the time, so yes it must have been a Doombot (if you want to get technical, Doom was alive but trapped in Hell, but really is there much of a difference?).

I'm saying they will just let him in, or is Reed back now?

Was that when he had Thors hammer?

Well, them letting him in would be "helping" now wouldn't it?
Was that when he had Thors hammer?
Well, sorta. I don't generally read F4, but as I understand it Doom was trapped in Hell and saw Thor's Hammer fly through (after Thor "died" in Ragnarok). Doom followed the Hammer somehow using it to bust a hole out of Hell (rather the hammer was leaving hell on it's own, Doom just came along for the ride).
Doom assumed this meant he was worthy to wield the Hammer, but wasn't able to lift it.

Parker's broken into Dooms castle a couple of times. Most recently was when he needed to borrow Dooms time traveling device. He also has gone undetected in Stark Tower, totally humiliating that security system.
If he can get through Dooms security and Starks then I don't see him having much problem getting past Reeds.
