-We have Sai and Yamato commenting of Sakura's feelings for Naruto (surely they not indicating she simply likes him as a friend). Surely this is a slight hint thrown like Kishi did with the Yondiame being Naruto's father.

-She defended Naruto's feelings several times.

-She obviously asked Chiyo about removing the Kyuubi so Naruto won't be hunted. And when she found out he would die, she obviously got upset.

-We see her running to the Mini Kyuubi to calm him down.

-She researched Drugs not only to save Sasuke, but so that Naruto wouldn't push himself again.

-She was upset that Naruto pushed himself in the Hospital when he was recovering from the FRS.

-Sakura even was about to feed a disabled Naruto herself.

Surely these little tidbits arn't just something a simple friend would do.


As for Naruto. He remembers that she loves Sasuke (remember the flashbacks to Episode 3 / Chapter 3). That is why he went to bring Sasuke back, for her sake, not just his own. I don't think that Sakura is that mean to Naruto.

There are a couple examples early in the manga where she's insensitive to Naruto or is excessively forceful with him. I believe that since those examples were early and people's first impressions of her treatment of Naruto, it's colored her future treatment of him even when it's more of a game between them (like how Sai talks about her pet name for Naruto and flounders trying to come up with one of his own for Sakura).

Many folks are enfatuated with women who enjoy overly aggressive females that go so far as to hit and beat the male of their choice. Not that I'm entirely defending her, but the way Sakura treated Naruto really wasn't anything out of the ordinary for people in the Leaf Village to do. Naruto in the beginning was the town outcast who apparantly made a habit of peeking in women's bathhouses and just the other day vandalized one of the most important monuments in the village. If I was a girl and the town troublemaker and class clown was all over me like that, I probably wouldn't have responded very well to it either.

As I mentioned in another thread, few seem to be too critical of the other charachters due to their previous opinion of Naruto. Choji and Shikamaru belittled him during the Chuunin Exams, Kiba completely underestimated him due to his first impression of him before, Orochimaru looked down on him when they first really met during the Tsunade intro, Kabuto mocked Naruto's words and condecendingly referred to him as a "child at the grownup's table", and heck, even Ikura, the now father figure who offers him free ramen all the time didn't like him at first.

Sakura wasn't the only one who had a rough first impression with Naruto. It's just that since she's the object of his affection and is around him more her relation with him (although I'm sure her naturally fiery temper doesn't help things, don't get me wrong) will be what fans remember the best.

Well in part 1 Sakura said that Naruto would constantly try to get into her love life and that he didn't understand her at all which was partly the reason, but now it just seems Sakura just hits him for comedic value after doing something stupid. Sakura was never a bitch to naruto.SHe disliked him and thought he was annoying from when this happened i do not know But i can bet from all the strories she heard from the other females about naruto failing his exams and is a loser with no talent or skills i nguess she just followed the croud and started "hating" him too. Most of the times in part 1 sakura hit naruto was because he was being downright stupid and perverted at times.ANd off course sasuke was there and that didn't help things in the least.

SOmehow i think that milk naruto drank could have indeed spoiled the sakura and naruto moment in the earliest chapters.

Either way Near the end of part 2 sakura realised just how far naruto would go for her and i guess whatever dislike she had for naruto went away although she could have been looking at naruto in a different light from the time sasuke told her that naruto was the one that saved her.

But anyway part 2 was going all good sakura was blushing and all then naruto pulled out the perverted card and lordy that was a punch. EIther way if any treatment of naruto from part 2 should come off as "hate" i.e the punvhing it's not really that but it's just sakura's role of keeping naruto in check.

PLus that time when naruto mentioned a date sakura reacted the way she did was because of how naruto asked.If naruto was mroe serious in a date with sakura she would have gone but anything other than that it's just to add for comedy.

The reason she can break things with only her fist is because of her excellent Chakra control which she was already proficient enough to begin with. So her growth isn't realistic, it's actually understandable.
