I'll keep the rules and regulations simple.


Bold the name of the person you know is the winner and leave a commentary.
Commentary is now mandatory. Any vote without a commentary will be ignored. Commentary do not need to be life stories, but they do need to be done.
If you can't think of a winner, mainly because you don't know enough of the person, you can wait till the owners of the team provide info and feats, and/or their argument, before you supply yours.
This brings us to the team owners. They can cast a vote also, but if they do so, they need to bring firm reason as to why they think so. Unlike normal voters, they are subject to biased voting.
With that said, no bribing the members. If you're caught doing so, your team is automatically out.

I'm undecided for now.

Abigail shouldn't be able to harm Zelgadis with any physical attacks, but Abigail's specialty is in spirit attacks anyway.

Zelgadis uses a wide array of magic, but just how powerful is it, and what are the different ranges of his spells?

Well apparently Youzen can fly and spam nuke like AoE attacks so if he doesn't break the power curve I suppose Gain doesn't stand much of a chance.

Ha, awesome. Battle of the cyborgs between two of my favorite characters. Anyway I don't think Franky has much of a chance. Gally is simply in another league when it comes to speed, power and skills. Franky is merely a brawler, while Gally is a skilled martial artist having mastered Panzer Kunst. She'd simply read Franky's movements and counter his attacks with a combo ending up with Hertz Haeon, frying the shipwright's brain. Gally wins.

Abigail vs Zelgadis

Since Zelgadis most powerful spell wouldn't work on Abigail, as Abi is a human and not a spiritual being I don't see him giving too much trouble to the Prophet of the Netherworld. Abigail's durability is impressive even for Bastard!! standards, which speaks volume, and he has deadly spells he can use almost instantaneously.

As always the Heretic/Thor combo is a given, even if Zelgadis can repell cannonballs he would certainly be hurt by a light beam strong enough to pierce through Dark Schneider's harder than steel skin. Abigails tentacles would certainly hurt Zelgadis as well as they can effortlessly destroy thick steel while protecting their master from Zelgadis lightning spells and physical attacks.

Well...this is pre-omega right? I can't say for 100% if Zel could down him really. I mean if he could stand up to Arshes lightning then his lightning spells would be useless too. But what about ice spells cold even to shatter? Zel could probably take a few beatings from him at best. Better question would be if Zel's Ra-Tilt could hurt him... If not...Abigail could probably take this.

I did some feats for Youzen if you want to see. It's not really complete though. >< To much work. qq I have to do the whole series on nearly everyone feat if I wanted to make it complete. Youzen can basically use all their abilities see. ><

For Kyosuke...well he can try watch some Soultaker on youtube. >< But some stuff he can do...

Class 50-100...
Spacial manipulation immobilization (he bends space to immobilizes people/objects on a cross). High regeneration (though for this tounry...if it's not allowed, this can be nulled). Energy projection (lightning breakers, albeit their names no where means actually lightning. Extreme high speed beams fired from his arms, can even fire double and even at H2h range). Mental Resistance (From mind altering affects and illusions, can break out of them after some time and become immune afterwards). Teleportation (either via ultra high speeds through matter or just outright teleportation...one of these two). Has a Beam saber. Can survive in vaccum. Survive being nuked by a satellite beam in human form.. Liquid helium being poured on him barely fazes him, only slowed him while in human form, he shugs it off very shortly. Can withstand lava even in human form.

He can do local (?) or some form or low level reality warping through his sorrows and from other peoples sorrows as well. Though that's ability is disable for tourny. ><

This is "human" Abigail, meaning he has access to everything he has demonstrated in the manga save the Omega Armor.

And yeah Abigail like all the characters in Bastard!! has a spirit so Ra Tilt could definitely take him down. However the invocation seems to be rather lengthy.

What are Zelgadis most powerful spells and their invocations? This is the key to this matchup IMO.

Zel most powerful in the spirit line is the Ra-Tilt. But have to remember...they don't have to chant in Slayers...chanting only usually help it make it stronger...or for better concentration but it is not necessary.

Ra Tilt is his most powerful spell, its been compared to a Dragon Slave.

Apparently Zelgadis' skin is as strong as stone, which is nothing Abigail would have trouble with.

None of them matches the Dragon Slave in power or output thats for sure. Asides from Ra-Tilt, which is equal to the Dragon Slave...only affects the astral side though. Zel's Ra-Tilt is at least strong enough to destroy regular Mazoku.

Dug Haut spikes are strong enough to pierce lesser demons, impale a falling large boulder and stop them in their tracks.

Bom Di Wind pressure strong enough to blow entire buildings and large structures apart.

Vlave Howl can draw forth large amounts of lava from the ground and encase the opponent then it cools off becoming harden.

Dynast Breath is cold and strong enough to freeze and hold Seigrama, a Mazoku who got extra power from Gaav.



Grunbeld vs Ryoko

Well...Ryoko does have many advantages over Grunbeld...flight, teleportation, energy beam blasts and sabers, forcefields, duplication, phasing, telekinesis, manipulating matter via merging, creating shadow clones, and summoning *demon spirits.

*Albeit she needs two gems to actually control them...so with one gem she can only summon it but can control it. Otherwise it would attack randomly at anyone.

Think her sword would just bypass through his armor and all? ^^ Even in Grunbeld dragon form...I think Ryoko is to fast for him.

Would a Shadow Snap spell work here? Its where he pierces a sword into the enemy's shadow, and it holds them in place from the Astral side.

If Ragna Blade is banned, that should probably be banned, since Ragna Blade can't destroy a city block either.

I don't see why. Forbidden for ex is a spell that summons evil spirits that eat away at the target physical and astral bodies. Or if you remove it do the same for Ra Tilt.

What are the effects of Ra Tilt on a human btw? From what I've read it seems to be a spell specifically designed to kill astral creatures.

But some of the astral/spirit spells can do sometimes do physical and astral damage well as soul/mind. Like...usually knocks a person unconscious or can destroy a normal person's spirit.

huh Tuxx, not to be a killjoy or anything but both Youzen and Ryoko(1 gem) are over the city block limit. Ryoko can charges up her blasts as long as she wants and Youzen is.. Youzen.

About Youzen, it's still kinda iffy. The man has met so many people that could take out a city by themselves, like Nataku or Buchuu, and he's smart enough that he'd use their paopei better than many of them. I seriously think he's overkill.

Aww but that's the beauty of it. Youzen is a genius beyond genius. With so many Paopei and people to transform almost no weakness. ^^ Though I can't say about his speed...

This is the only match where I am fully aware of what both characters are capable of.

Franky stands no chance whatsoever. Alita destroy him effortlessly.
She is far faster, stronger, far more skilled in technical fighting and with her Ponter Kust, and can fry Franky with a move or equally obliterate him with any of her weapons or technics. Truth= End of Manga Alita solo's the strawhats with her abilities and equipment.

Even if that Abigail tentacles can't harm Zelgadis, they should have the power to restrain him. Abigail cast spells after spells until he finds something that works.

On Aby's durability, he tooks attacks more powerful than everything short of a Dragon Slave and iirc, La Tilto is only effective on spirits (i.e. ghosts) and Mazokus, maybe zombies too. Abygail doesn't fall under any of these categories.

So yeah, Grunbeld against Saiyan Saga Vegita, that's an interesting match. Grunbeld could hit Ryoko for days and just burn her hair for his trouble. Horrible, horrible rapestomp.

You've got to remember even if Youzen has nukes Gain can cancel 80% of all magical attacks with his sword. Youzen Paopei stuff could fall under this category, no?

Anyways...yeah even in Youzen true youkai form...he has limited regeneration and could use many transformation and Paopei (weapons in HE). From total manipulation of sand to manipulation of water, to atoms and lasers. Or transform to Bukichi for massive class 100 strength and speed.

People usually handle them in Slayers by blocking them or moving out of the way.

As I said he can summon ghosts and spirits of grudge who devour the target's physical and astral bodies.

Since they are ghosts they aren't simply an energy beam or an explosion that can be dodged once and you're safe.

You mean like...tank spiritual attacks? Well in Slayers world...humans don't have a large astral body or maybe even one at all...at least not enough to do damage with. So they never got it by any astral attacks before...

So it's anyone's guess. Unless I'm mistaken. But if by spiritual = soul...then yeah that might be a different story.

There's no mention of their strength but given Abigail's magical power and the fact it's his second most powerful offensive spell I'd say they're pretty high level ghosts.
