death spells only work in game mechanics, and besides that, PPGs are more powerful then any boss in the game, so if a death spell does not work on bosses, it would not work on them.



and, again, if it was that easy, nobody would be a challenge. you could insta-death anyone without a fight. this is clearly not the case in the FF7 verse.

Stop isn't a 100% hit spell, and neither is Death. What you need is Vanish, which IS 100% hit, and causes all subsequent spells to be 100% hit as well.

Of course, once they're Vanished, then you can't track them to cast spells on them, and they could simply speedblitz the FF-verse from behind.
