Batman was able to avoid this incarnation of Darkseids Omega Beams so someone with above-human agility would manage it too. Oh and there's always a Galick Gun which would certainly do for Darkseid, only trouble is if Vegeta gets in to close combat.

Vegeta isnt winning anything easily,darkseid took full on supes punch and even animated supes was physically stronger then saiyan saga vegeta,if darkseid gets the agony matrix on vegeta he wins,if vegeta just fights smart and plays keep away he will eventually win.

Both are still darkseid and I would be assuming we would be using the most recent incarnation in the jlu series.

the jlu one was more powerful then normal because he was a combined enitity

it wouldnt be a correct outcome

but for the sake of arguement darkseid is almost constantly bloodlusted.

Vegeta is a 50/50 bloodlust chance

Bloodlusted Vegeta blows up plant
Bloodlusted dark seid boom tubs to where vegeta is and either omega beams him into nothingness or snaps his neck with his far far far far superior strength

If Vegeta gets into a fist fight/melee with Darkseid, he's going to loose.

he'll have a better chance flying and spamming planet busters to be safe, though he might run out of energy after the 3rd attack? lawl and if he takes his time with an, Darkseid might just kill him with the Omega Beams or boomtube right beside him and unleash the Agony Matrix.
