I don't think his Shunshin is fast enough to avoid C2 explosions, since Sasuke was barely getting away. Hell, Sasuke even got hit by C2 once and only lived because he shielded himself with his wing. I think Sasuke's stamina is greater than Kakashi's as well. I'm assuming that Deidara now knows about Kakashi's Mangekyou, in which case he'd put up a blistering offensive (like Kakuzu did) and thus never give Kakashi the opening he needs to use it.

Kakashi loses big time. Deidara has the advantage of flight and aerial manueverability. Kakashi strongest attack would almost be suicide if he decided to try and hit Deidara in the air. Mangekyou may work once to help destroy a C1 but he would be to tired to continue the battle after that.
