I hope you know that episodes 30,71, 133 were intentionally made that way, there is nothing wrong with the animation. it is just a type of animation that is not meant to be paused halfway through. the fluid movements are made by the weird contortions drawn

Yeah that was insanely horrible. The entire fight was done virtually better than in the manga, except Neji's final hits and ball-Kidoumaru. That 1 hour Neji special was extremely good, but that ball at the end was a bit out of place.

Bad thing is, you can go into about any naruto episode on random and find a bad scene.

Though some episode themselves are just so badly drawn that every scene looks gimped.

A couple of eps are really good though without almost any error at all.
Those round the chuunin exam are horrible all the way to the fights in the coliseum or whatnot.

Some of the images are from the manga(but not directly) like some of these weird close up shots. Even when something is taken straight from the manga...the animators tend to do quite poorly, however, the images based on the manga are really bad during the beginning of the show...like that early picture of Kurenai...and it took the animators a long time to figure out how to draw eyes correctly. Most of the images are really fast action shots which were not meant to be paused but they are funny to see anyway.

However, most of the bad images come from filler episodes which don't follow the manga...the main reason that they are bad, other than the complete inadequacies of the animators, is the simple fact that they don't have anything to base their "art" on.

But since it finds away to make people laugh, and watch the episodes to catch the mistake...the animators don't have much to complain about since everyone still watches the show. They only lose a bit of pride for the humility of having some of these pictures posted on forums...oh well...it's still funny :smile-big
