Usopp vs. luffy

if all of usopps bones werent already crushed, by the franky family. could he have beaten luffy? i mean usopp has crazy durability, and he was severly injured going into that fight with luffy. what if he was at 100%?

I agree. And HELL NO!!!!! Usopp would not have beaten luffy. The only thing that would have changed is the amount of hits he could have taken from Luffy.

If ussop was 100% it would've just given Luffy an excuse to use his stronger techniques. Notice how Luffy basically ran for nearly the whole match, if he went all out he could've killed Usopp.

luffy was just dodging,he got serious about hitting ussop after a while though till then he couldn't actually attack even if he wanted to

ussop's plan was to beat luffy via the explosion,that was his only way to beat luffy,none of his weapons could do the job

he just distracted luffy till the gas filled the area luffy was near and then made the gas explode since he knew only a huge explosion like that could take luffy down

but luffy was stronger than that

so either if usopp was wounded or not he wouldn't have won,if he wasn't wounded maybe he would be able to take one more attack

Pride was not at stake though, a broken ship was. Luffy is simply too skilled and durable to be beaten by Ussopp. If Ussopp had been fighting someone else, then the battle would have been over with the explosion or impact dial. However, you could tell that Ussop exhausted all his resources when he used the dial.

Seconded .... And Usopp could never have won .... even with all his tactics because luffy has fought far stronger and cleverer opponents.

Usopp always knew that it would take just one hit before he is taken down. He just had to keep delivering damage untill luffy passes out ... but sadly it did not happen

usopp could never beat luffy and during that fight i dont even think luffy was takeing him seriously. usopp had planned out every thing but probly needed to plan double or triple that to even really affect luffy and hurt him for real.

Well .. one of the interesting things about Usopp fighting was that he knows he cant endure the same things as Luffy. Thats why he kept atacking and didnt give Luffy the chance to atack him.. Luffy didnt even get time to use gear 2nd.
And Luffy seemed pretty serious to me, he just didnt get the time the counter atack. + Usopp had some serious wounds. And Luffy's boddy is made from rubber making him alot more durable to Usopp's atacks.

Really.. i dont think Usopp is that much weaker then Luffy.
Usopp may be physical weaker and not have the same durability as Luffy.
But he is alot more strategic then Luffy , he really thinks ahead. Compensating his lacks a bit.

Anyways, Luffy is the protagonist of the anime so he could beat any of his Nakama IMO.

One interesting fight could be Usopp vs Sanji.. Because sanji doesnt have any long range atack.

luffy didnt know gear second yet.

and i think with prep time, usopp can beat any straw hat, except zoro and luffy.
