Gambit (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gambit_%28comics%29) from X-Men vs Kira (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kira_Yoshikage) from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

Gambit is in his current 616 version (Note: I don't read comics, so if you think a different version is a better match up, do tell. )

Kira gets Stray Cat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stand_%28JoJo%27s_Bizarre_Adventure%29#Stands_of_P art_4:_Diamond_Is_Unbreakable) as well.

*Gambit can see Stands*

Takes place in a random generic city.

They are in character but for plot reasons, must kill the opponent.

They start 10m apart.

edit: Another One Bites The Dust is banned.

Kira wins.

Do i need to go on, AOBTD is probably all Kira needs for finishing Gambit of.
Unless its New Sun Gambit then.

Also, I was thinking, why didn't he use it on any of the main characters? Was it beacause they were in a group?

He used it, but time rewinded itself, wasn't that the reason?? It was one of AOBTD effects, wasn't it??

Then i am sure the fight will be more even, but i still root for Kira.

Not only does Killer Queen have a lot of useful abilites, its also quite fast and strong(he punched a hole through Koichi's stomach before he even could react)

I am not convinced on Gambit winning here from what i've seen of him, but seeing as there are thousand of incarnations of some comic book characters i am sure one of them could take him(like New Sun Gambit)

New Sun could take Kira pretty easily. He could do make Kira explode w/ a look and a lot more.

New Son had control of kinetic energy at a molecular level. He could turn an object's potential energy into kinetic energy, making it explosive. He does not need to make physical contact to do so, nor does he have a block to prevent him from using this on a living being.

He can cause another being to be unable to move or unable to stop if in motion. He was able to cause or simulate various energies by manipulating the kinetic energy present, such as infrared and microwaves by increasing molecular agitation, or cold by reducing it.

Lastly he could transform himself into an energy wave to travel through space and into other dimensions.
