Bourne does more realistic stuff, Rambo is a mini Captain America.

John Rambo is a Army Special Forces Commando. He is specially trained to conduct deep raid strikes behind enemy territory under the guise of stealth and to utilize only the basic equipment required to complete the mission. He is extensively trained in jungle warefare and wilderness survival, which includes hand-to-hand and incapacitating the enemy unarmed. Give him a knife and the clothes off his back and he is guaranteed to survive in a hostile environment outside of civilization. He is extensively trained as a sharp shooter, in demolition, reconnaissance, EOD (bomb diffusing), piloting fixed and rotary winged vehicles and every land vehicle created during the Cold war.

Jason Bourne is completely different from John Rambo. He is extremely skilled in conducting urban warefare, hand-to-hand and knowledgable in almost all modern day weaponry. His is more similar to Denzel Washington's character in "Man on Fire", John Creasy, an ex-CIA operative whom specializes in counter-insurgency and infiltration.

The location would depend on who would win. Basically, Jason Bourne is dead meat in a rural locale.
