Mewtwo's speciality is psychokinesis, right? As far as I can tell, it's simply some sort of supernatural shockwave with telekinetic traits. He's not protected against mind-invading attacks.

It all depends on the settings that defines the battle strategy.

But tbh, Wheels is superior to Mewtwo in telepathy.

I wouldn't count out him overpowering Mewtwo's mind ftw.

If Mewtwo knows how powerful Xavier's mind is then he'll just quickly lift him off his wheelchair and throw him into an ocean.

If he doesn't he'll probably take him head on and have a HUGE headache the next day.

The Mind Gem is basically the entire consciousness of the universe. Anyone holding it can basically access surface thoughts of anyone they want (or even people they don't want, if they're weak-minded). However, telepaths can use it to essentially remove limitations of distance or psi-shielding.

@ TWF - I know, but I said that Xavier is probably a more powerful telepath and may be able to overpower it + counter.

Although there isn't much to support the argument either way as we haven't seen Mewtwo's limitations on his mind-raping.

The thing is I don't think we have ever seen a bloodlusted Xavier, so I don't know how it would play out.

Bloodlusted or not, if Xavier senses an intrusion in his mind due to Mewtwo's attempt to mind rape, he will defend against it, and possibly overpower and proceed to disable Mewtwo to prevent further threat.

Assuming Xavier is 100% completely and totally willing to kill Mewtwo, he would turn that thing's brain into a blob of goo. There are very few people would Xavier couldnt kill if we truely wanted to.

I'd say Mewtwo wins. Given that Mewtwo is much faster and has stats out the wazoo.
