I'm Looking In To Cosplay...Any Tips?

I've heard that the costumes are very exspencive and are made of very cheap materials...if this is true, then I think I'll just learn how to sew and make my own. I also have probems finding a group to do it with and stuff like that. I'd like to put these on youtube and Veoh, stuff like that, but I have no vodeo-making skills at all..I was hoping to find some help here. Anyonne got any tips?

well here is he best tip i can give you: DONT MAKE YOUR OWN STUFF.
its always done poorly and never looks right.
second: if youre going to buy store bought shit, dont buy the cheap stuff, buy real metal, not plastic........and good luck
