How would I say "The cursed village?"

Please confirm the meaning and check the grammar of these...

These may mean "When Cicadas Cry" or "The moment the cicadas cry" or somethign along the lines of that...

These are supposed to mean "The cursed village"
La aldea maldecida (it might be "maldita"?, but that might mean "damned" rather than "cursed with an evil curse")

If you want to say "the cursed village" in Spanish, you say "La aldea maldita"
which is more normal, I'm not sure that "maldecida" is even correct.

Ahh, I put that into a translator (lol) and it came out as damn. I should have eloborated when I said "cursed" because I meant something like "The village that as a curse upon it." As in an evil curse.

Unless you can use damn in that way. But then it would be "damned."

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "plag"... perhaps "plague?"

I believe that one of the words may be "cicada." I think that the Chinese, Korean, and Russian titles are translated right from the Japanese. The original Japanese title contains the word "cicada."

I based the Spanish and German (and going for the Italian) on a portion of the French title, "the cursed village."

for the german part i would take "Das verdammte Dorf"
this sounds more dramatic as "Das verfluchte Dorf"
although that "verdammte" means condemned and "verfluchte" cursed
