I only saw Gensomaden Saiyuki, all 50 episodes. I really like the music composition, especially the opening themes.

The storyline was alright. It started out fine and smooth, but then it got carried away... REALLY carried away. First they were after that one demon but then they started going against the gods, but I guess that's hy there's Saiyuki Reload...?
I haven't seen it yet, so i'm not positive.

which series is better, the first or reload? cause I just watched episode 1 of reload. The music was great, but it the first ep wasn't that great. But I always try a series for at least 3 episodes

well i have seen episode 6 to 20 from reload( cause i couldnt get 1 to 5) and i don think it s that great but since i love the characters i wont give up on the anime ^_^

Sha Gojyo is so funny! He may act like a pervert but then again he isn't.
Genzo Sango is funny too! What is a Buddist doing with a personal gun and drinkin' and smokin'? I find that rather funney.
Hakkai is alright I guess. Don't like him too much. His proper speak is killing me.
Goku? If I had a little brother, I would almost bet he would be just like Goku. That boy will eat and eat until he explode. He doesn't do anything and yet he is always hunger.
I'm going to start making some Saiyuki shirts and stuff. It think that would be fun!

My girlfriend (SasuNaruGirl) is a huge fan of the show and she got me into it. Yeah, it's pretty good. All-around likable characters with an interesting plot. Tad bit long though...too many fillers.

awesome anime and manga, just the whole fighting all the gods seemed repetitive and a stretch. still kickass though

and its theater film Requiem is splendid

Love the series. Reload Gunlock is great, especially Kou-chan in the white leather outfit. Sanzo is really funny. Prefer the first one, though.

I don't know if much ppl heard of it...saiyuki's great its like crazy fighting and i like the storyline. U guys/gals should check it out if u have the time...

My husband even enjoyed watching it with me...which isn't often that he watches anime with me

I watched the Saikyuki series and am half way through Saiyuki reloaded. It seems like its all filler. In Saiyuki reloaded or gunlock will they ever reach their objective with the demon guomaji or w/e?

I've only seen and Gensomaden Saiyuki (own the DVD's) and about 4 episodes of RELOAD. Pretty good series but not my favorite. I might pick up watching the rest at a later date...
