Considering that the Ninja Taisen series is on the GC, and that the GC is region-free, no.

I don't think the Wii is region free. I'm not sure, and I don't think the gamecube is region free either... or is it? I didn't import games while I had a gamecube, so I don't know for sure.

Ok look, if you wanna play it all you need is a memory card, however it cant have any american/english data on it. I.E, if you used this memory card to save on an american mario sunshine, you cant use that card for a japanese naruto. Just wipe the card of its american data, or get a new one.
