Dr. Strange has had some great showings so i will give it to him until someone can show me something the other have done that can beat him.

Comes down to Strange and El, I say. And I say this because I don't know much about Strange, but from what I understand, he's on par with Elminster. As it stands, I'm leaning towards Elminster unless I learn more about Strange.

Iranicus is out of his league there.

Elminster would win on average showings, though Khelben can supposedly match Elminster sometimes.

If we use only the strongest showings of Strange then he would win. But using an average he'd lose.

Elminster having Mystra's backing shouldn't lose this. He also seems to me to be the 'trickiest' caster here and practically impossible to kill.

Strange and Khelben would prove a challenge but i don't see him losing tbh.

Jon Irenicus while having the best voice actor ever and being the most badass unfortuantly will not stand a chance.

Introduce Macros the Black and Milamber into the fights please :D

EDTED: Actually the wiki articles for them suck, so unless you're already familiar with them, forget it :(

Elminster would win on average showings ... If we use only the strongest showings of Strange then he would win. But using an average he'd lose.I agree with this exactly. Unfortunately, it's been a long time since I read the Magician's Apprentice books, so I don't really remember Macros and Milamber all that well. :(

Macros was basically Merlin, with enough abilities to keep even with a single Valheru in combat.

Malimber was Pug's other world name, although he didn't use it much after he unlocked his true powers. Pug has always been more powerful than Macros, though due to his inferior skills was still his trainee, so to speak. Macros eventually gave Pug all of his memories from the millenia he had been wandering the universe, making Pug his equal in skill.

Much as it may pain Forgotten Realms fans, Elminster is massively, massively out of his depth in this. He can probably take down Blackstaff and Irenicus on his own.

But without Mystra, he is going down hard. Even with Mystra, it is an iffy matter, because if they are allowed to call upon the power of external forces, then Stephen Strange can become an avatar of Eternity.

Who is an AO style overgod.

Even without such extreme measures, Strange has been known to hurt Galactus with his spells, reverse the flow of time for entire planets and turn living stars into black holes. With preparation time and his artifacts, he can even counter the abilities of the Infinity Gauntlet, an artifact that grants its wielder virtually unlimited reality-warping powers.

Seriously. If he even half-tries, then he wtfqcrbstpwns Elminster.

Pug reversed a time-stop bubble trap into taking him back in time to the start of the universe in like 1 day, then dimension-travelled back to current time.

Macros was like... One time, a portal to-from Hell opened, and demons were coming out... When the Demon Lord(something like 5th strongest in Hell IIRC) was about to come out, Macros decides to go in instead, and kicks his ass so bad they had to close down the portal to avoid the collateral :D

I think I can obtain their stats if you think it'll be useful, unless someone has the epic level handbook and is willing to share that is >.>

Please do!
