How come he will win against Hotaru and will lose to Akira? Hotaru is considered Kyo's rival unlike Akira.

He would lose against all of them :o
Yukimura tied with the same Kyo that barely beat Hotaru and Shinrei however both of them got 2 other power-ups afterwards while Yukimura played hide and seek with Aka-chan.

Yuki was never that up on the tier to be a challenge to those on the list. He loses all and i dont even see a difficult fight for the challengers. I only see him at around Benidora level and nothing higher.

well i mean he did kinda beat chinmei right guys? He used the short sword to cut off the bottom half of his body while sasuke and the rest fought him.

As for Hotaru and Chinmei, how did they get power ups? and did Akira get a power up too, even still how did Yukimura tie with kyo?
