Wasn't the 20 gig model the one unable to connect to wifi ?
$100 for a wifi adaptor and 60 gigs of HD sounds good to me...

I actually am not sure what the 20GB model was missing.
But I don't like Wifi for online anyways, less reliable.

The 20g version was lacking a large HDD, Flash card readers, Wi-Fi, and the all important chrome trim.

From my wii and DS experience wifi works just like normal internet...no slowdown or anything bad at all with just a regular wifi router...and it would be way too hard to get a line to my ps3 with my kind of setup.

Well the DS doesn't have too much to relay, so Wifi tends to work well.
But Wifi isn't as fast as wired. Not to mention not as reliable, lag issues and quick disconnects and such.

No, 20 gig wasn't needed. 60 gig for 500 is nicely priced though.

I don't know if it would help them sales-wise, but I know it wouldn't have affected my decision. The 20gigs on the 360 wasn't enough, and with the possibility of many games installing onto the harddrive to make a bigger memory cache (I heard Ninja Gaiden Sigma takes up 2 gigs), 20 gigs doesn't seem like much.

Oh the installation. I never do it, loading 2 seconds doesn't bother me.

The NGS install is 3 gigs. I uninstalled it because of the v-sync issues.

Sonic had bad load times no matter what, it was one of it's biggest downfalls :(
