Heehee. I wouldn't say I'm a fanatic. I just think Ino is cool. She kind of reminds me of myself, actually. I think I can safely admit I have a bit too much self-confidence at times, and I think Ino can be that way too. In the end, we're both super awesome chicks who are just too hot for those dudes who chase us 'cause we have our eyes on ONE! MWUAHAHAHAHAA!!

Just kidding, btw, but that was awful fun to type out. Aaaalso, I have a DeviantArt account, and while I lack a scanner to scan any of my drawings and color them; I've colored two pictures (whoopie). Chapter 1 Beginning of the End

From his angle, the clear autumn sky is clear, save for a few fluffy white clouds, the edges of his vision is framed by brilliant bursts of red and yellow maple leaf clusters. He has always loved the contrasting colors when he watches the sky from underneath a tree. The sky peeks through the leaves, never to be seen in its entirety; like the freedom he craves for this life, ever elusive. Everything up above seems to exist in blissful ignorance, even time itself is magically suspended; the trickles of the sand slow to an indiscernible wisp. Strange, that is how he feels now, suspended. He slowly blinks and the sky turns a shade of red, a trickle of blood has seeped from his brow down to his eye, coating his cornea.

Shikamaru is dying.

This isn’t so bad really. Everyone makes such a huge deal out of it, he thinks casually, but I really wish I could enjoy this last moment without all the noise.

“No, damnit! You stay with me, you bastard! You stay with me… stay…” Ino’s pained wails drops into a choked whisper as she kneels next to him and clutches his hand desperately to her breast. “Sakura, do something!”

“Hush, Ino. Let me concentrate!” The pink-haired girl wears an intense mask of concentration, beads of sweat forming on her forehead and trickling down her nose, dripping soundlessly onto Shikamaru’s gaping wounds, blending in with the bloody mess. It is a sickening sight; his entire left side is crushed, and his stomach is slashed open where pink viscera are visible. Around his body, a puddle of vibrant red slowly forms, sneakily seeping into the fabric of Sakura’s pants. An orb of blue chakra forms between her cupped palms, and she gently presses it to Shikamaru’s torso. After a few more of such attempts, she looks up at Ino’s pleading eyes and helplessly shakes her head.

Ino. The name means something to the rough-haired, knot-browed Shikamaru, but he cannot quite recall who that is. His mind is a chaotic blur, and he feels cold. Sharp pain jabs at his chest, interrupting his thoughts, urging him to remember. It is an important name, the name of the most important person in his life. Suddenly, his line of vision darkens as a pair of pale blue eyes peers into his, eyes so blue they were the sky itself and he could lose himself watching them forever. Ah, I remember now. Ino. He smiles in satisfaction. It all seems so far away now, the years he has spent pretending she didn’t mean anything more to him than some troublesome girl. All for this moment. She has never looked more beautiful than she does now, although she would disagree vehemently. Her cheeks crusted with dirt with tear streaks leaving clear tracks that reveal the porcelain skin beneath. Her pale blond hair stained with his blood and her clothes are torn from stumbling through the forest blindly, trying to carry him away from the battleground. Where her shoulder is visible through the rips, he can see a hideous bleeding gash. He frowns and tries to lift his hand to touch her but finds that he couldn’t feel his body from the neck down.

“What is it? What…Do you need something? Anything!”

“I’m…dying, aren’t I? Menduksai…don’t be so dramatic. It happens to everyone…eventually.” His voice is barely above a strained rasp.

“Don’t say that! You bastard, you promised we’d…do you still remember…?” Soft and sad, her warm breath gently brushes against his cheek. She uses a corner of her right sleeve to tenderly wipe away the trickle of blood that blinds his right eye.

“I remember…” he gasped and coughed as blood filled his lungs. His eyes are gradually losing their luster to settle into a mute glossy stare.

“No! Shika…stay, you bastard, stay! Sakura, oh my god, Sakura, do something…”

The frenzy around him blurs and fades as his consciousness plummets into a vacuum. In the darkness, he hears Ino’s sobs and is momentarily saddened by the thought of not being apart of her world anymore. He welcomes the void with open arms, serene and calm. This is the beginning of the end, he thought; the end of his shackles of which he calls life and of love so intense it tortures his soul. Memories far away, like kites loose from its strings, drift through the skies of his mind as he falls farther and farther into nothingness.

Hmm...NaruIno...interesting...

Hi addict_07, welcome to this forum! Well, as much as I like Ino, I would say Sakura is the better girl for Sasuke. I mean, Sasuke doesn't give a hoot about Ino, plus they don't have any real interactions in this series.

Sakura's probably the closest female to Sasuke and Sasuke sees her as a good friend and an important comrade. So, the chance of them getting together would be much higher I think.

Anyway, I still prefer ShikaIno, they really hit it off well and it's fun to see them together. Otherwise, ShinoIno(hey it rhymes!) would be interesting too.

I actually am worrying about Ino because it looks like she might end up with no one in the actual manga. ShikaTemari seems to be a lock at this point and the only guys left are chouji and shino....poor poor ino

Not inevitably, he can be lazy and when a thing pisses him he becomes a loud-mouth and if it's contradictory, it's not that important, it was just a sentence like that, take all the caracteristics of Ino and Shikamaru and make them together.
So that's why Ino must be paired with Naruto, their kids will make less damage, they will be just loud-mouth. ^^

I think that Team Kurenai wil appear all of them at once (Just like the Neo Team Gai), Sasuke will appear big time, but how Ino and Chouji will appear . . . It's been a while and she didn't appear in the manga, but if Kishi makes her one of the last of the ex-genin who finally makes her appearance, that should be a good omen for us, if ya catch my drift. Well she won't appear in this arc that's for sure . . .

But how much do you think she'll improve ?? I see her being the stylish speedster (With above average stamina -she's the Kunoichi with the greatest amount of stamina between the Kunoichi of the good old Legendary Rookie Nine-; also having above average Ninjutsu) . . . Well she was the best in Ninjutsu, Strength and Stamina among the Kunoichi in the end of Part 1, do you think that she'll have these advantages now ??

I've been thinking in some new jutsus she may have after th timeskip but I'm not so sure, at least I see her with 3 new jutsu. but only time may prove me right . . .

Personnally I think she'll have greatly improved, as the other ex-genin. The problem is we have see 2 kunoichi for the moment : Sakura and Ten Ten.
Sakura seems to have done a fantastic jump in impovment whereas Ten Ten is one more time not very well shown with a great power (this sentence seems very bad to me but I didn't achieve to change it, sorry for my bad english --") I think she will between the two or like Ten Ten but far from a so impressive improvement like Sakura.
For what she'll look like... Her clothes will not have changed the most, maybe a bit but I think she will remain pretty the same than before timeskip.
But I thibk she will have her father's jutsu...

In Foxhound, she uses a lot of Genjutsu and with a family jutsu which is about mind control, it would be logical she uses that type of jutsu. But it could be strange since Skura is a genjutsu user too so maybe it will continue their rivalry or Ino won't have a high power in genjutsu...

And against Neji, Hinata kicked ass. She lost, horribly, but she could fight. I can't say the same for Sakura, her fight with Ino was PATHETIC. On both party's sides.

Ah well, Ino shoulda won. Split personalities should be cheating...

She lost horribly, but she could fight? How's that work? She didn't manage to do anything to Neji and Neji barely showed a fraction of his powers. She showed a helluva lot of guts by continuing to get up, but I don't see that you can say she demonstrated her skill (or necessarily, lack thereof since she was going up against the Hyuuga genius).

Not sure how you rate both combatants as pathetic either. If they tie, it means that they're equal, but you can't say whether that's good or bad. And since they skipped over most of the fight, we can't even really use their techniques to judge it. But if nothing else, you gotta admit that Ino's move to bind Sakura was pretty slick. She suckered the whole audience as well.

And if a split personality is cheating, what about curse seals, bound youmas, bloodlines, and family-only techniques? Sakura doesn't have any of those.

But Sakura was taught by a Sennin and Ino a lazy bum...

Ah well, Ino probably wont do so well unless she (most likely) picked up some enw moves.

Not really.

Episode 41 covers the preliminaries and a bunch of flashbacks. At the end of it, they both get serious about fighting and put their forehead protectors on their foreheads.

For episode 42, at about 3 minutes into the episode (counting the opening), they begin fighting again. At the five minute mark, they nearly KO each other. Kakashi remarks that they're evenly matched and there's no end in sight. Hayate comments that it's been a long fight - already ten minutes. So we miss at least 8 minutes of fighting. The fight ends about 12 minutes later - most of which was Ino setting up Sakuro for her mind jutsu and trying to use it on her.

Like you said, we got to see the talking part, but they skipped over 8 minutes worth of fighting.

Yo there btw, while surfing around, I found out this lil piece of curious info

Yesterday was held a Narutimate Hero 2 and Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 torney, sponsored by www.shishi-rendan.com

In the NH2 section Rockman showed a list with all the banned characters, guess what ?? Ino appears in that list (The banned characters in the NH2 tournament are Itachi, Ino, Naruto -Maito suit-, Gai and Kankurou. In NGNT 3 the banned characters are Akamaru and Karasu, but that's besides the point

Yeah, you read that right guys: Ino is banned from the NH2 tourney, Ino's poison skills can be uber nasty in the right hands in this game, and with the right setup, she's almost invincible, to the point that she was considered broken xp

Err . . it's a tough call, and at least in my case I can't give an answer just like that, just give me some time . . .

If you're talking about Naruto the series, Shino wins in the 60% of the cases (the other 40% is if Ino tricks him into Shintenshin no Jutsu)

In Naruto Narutimatte Hero 2, Ino destroys Shino effortlessly, always. You read that right

I can't say anything about Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen though, but I'm not surprised if Shino wins (if there are any active NGNT players out there, please, help us decide :amuse)

So it's a 1-1, a draw :)

I also wanted to know what you think Ino's attack style or new jutsus will be post-timeskip? I don't think she'll specialize in anything but still have some new family jutsus. Plus, she's a good strategist as seen in her fight with Sakura. The great thing anout Ino is that she's well-rounded and that's what probably made her one of the best rookie kunoichi. =D

And about your question I think she'll specialize in poison, if you want to see what I mean play N:NH 2, her poison jutsu is broken; also mind control ninjutsu (Shinranshin definately has potential, and perhaps she'll surprise us with a brand new jutsu, who knows ?) And as you said she's one of the more balanced characters :amuse . . . In the strategy deperarment, I'm not that sure, unless Kishi prove me wrong, I think the deal it's more about Ino using the surprise factor and street smarts

NONE i repeat NONE of thoes fanarts/wallpapers are mine, i did none of them.
i just surf the net looking for Ino pictures and i stumble upon these ^^ if you want the link to any of thoes pictures or you are woundering where i got them just ask me and ill give them to you :D
