Agreed, and I don't think Hinata will be one of them. :/
In case some of you haven't noticed, she's a side character. And while that does not render her useless to the hero or the plot, it does mean she's not going to get as much attention as, say, Naruto, Sasuke, or Sakura. Ever.

Look at how Jiraiya looks at Tsunade when you're comparing Naruto and Sakura. (I know the new generation aren't supposed to repeat the mistakes of the past, but since they're already doing it, I get to talk about it. Clear? :noworry) Jiraiya talks about Tsunade the way I can see Naruto talking about Sakura in forty-odd years, assuming they don't get together: Sort of like he's resigned to the fact that they're never going to be with each other, but like he can live with that because they are friends and allies and always will be.

But that's just my opinion. Sorry for ranting on your thread, OP. :amuse

Who cares? There isn't a rule of thumb that everyone has to hook up with someone before the story ends. Those wanting that will be disappointed.

Naruto should be with hinata but the writers will not let it happen, if anyone he will end up with Sakura who does not deserve him at all.

I could argue with you on if Sakura deserves him or not, but this isn't the place for it, and I don't want to. (Anyone deserves anyone they choose.)

Because despite what most people who are against it may think it doesn't really stop it. As you said, Sasuke & Sakura isn't going to happen because Sasuke might not make it out of it alive. (We don't know that to be honest.) It didn't seem like Kishimoto really killed NaruSaku, more like:
Naruto knew Sakura enough to know she had a different objective than to "confess" and he caught on rather quickly. And Sakura was considering Naruto's bond with Sasuke, his feelings about the matter...

A few things - One, this is the pairing fandom. The pairing fandom expects everyone to hook up by the end of the story or there is no true "conclusion" if one does not hook up with a character, it is the same as said character being dead.

Two - It always has to be a named character or people will wonder who they hooked up with. They need to know who stole their favorite character's heart.

Three - Most expect Hinata, who in universe orbits Naruto and her entire character is devoted to hooking up with him, to do just that. If she doesn't, she is expected to be as good as dead.
