it will be a hard fought battle but i still have to go with kisame. To me he is more fearless than Itachi and from fighting Gai sensai we know that he is just as fast. The only thing itachi has an advantage over kisame is that damn sharigan....

Yeah, I was really surprised when Kisame was that fast, I always thought that Kisa would be big, strong but slow. If he could avoid getting caught in Itachi’s genjutsu he’d end up winning but Kisame would have to not look at him at all, Itachi is always very good with taijustu, so unless Kisa is good at defense while not looking at Itachi’s face, hands and whatever else he can use, Kisa would be ok.
Still I’m not completely sure about who would win, if it was fair. If it actually happen, Kishi would have to have Itachi win.

Well, unlike Itachi, sasuke is still pretty young and naive.

It shows in the Deidara fight especially. If what they say is true and Sasuke is already at an Itachi level (which I don't know how he could be with no MS), than Deidara was an easy match for him and he was just toying with him, but he did underestimate our claymaker. I disagree with this and I think that Sasuke did have somewhat of a hard time with Deidara, even though most people just think he was toying around. But I do still agree that Sasuke did underestimate Deidara to a certain extent.

So my guess would be that Kisame would rip Sasuke's ass to shreds with those extremely stylish teeth of his :awesome!!! Besides, no sword can outmatch the great Samehada!!!

I know that Kisame would put up a damn good fight against Itachi, and just because Kisame is taking orders from him doesn't necessarily mean that Itachi is way stronger. I mean, Kisame is a very loyal man. If you look at his past, he commited several crimes, was part of a different organization (seven mist swordsman), and he even murdered a feudal lord. I'm guessing that the assassination was an order given to Kisame from a higher power, a power that he could easily take out!! So, I just think that Kisame respects his comrades, which is very un villain like (but thats why our Kisa rocks!!)
