Amaterasu (Okami) vs Lavos (Chrono Cross)

Comment - Lavos was seen moving X amount of speed, doing X thing, with X mount of sheer force. Thats why he takes it.

Amaterasu (Okami) vs Lavos (Chrono Cross)
______________________________________

I'm not even sure here. Lavos is hyped into so much stuff, and he never really accomplishes anything without prep (heck, hasn't accomplished one thing with it). On the other hand, from where I'm at, Amaterasu can create fucking suns. Too bad this is in character, else she'd just create a sun right over Lavos. I'm left undecided here at the moment. Needs to play more Okami.

Not sure myself. I suppose the biggest feat Lavos managed was burning the face of the planet, but there are more subtle and quantifable comparisons that can be found throughout the game. Specifically in the Zeal era.

Whether it was Lavos's power or not is in question, but regardless, the fact is that Zeal was a continent floating in mid-air, thousands of feet above the earth. That bit of leviatation would have required some pretty hard work to get it up there, let alone keep it there indefiniently.

What we know of Lavos is that he can, as Wesley already stated, power an entire continent to remain afloat for thousands of years, and he has enough power to wipe out the majority of life on the Planet in a single attack.

However Amaterasu is a God (or Goddess in this case, but I digress) and all of her Brush Techniques are basically reality warping so I give the fight to her.

How big were the suns? What's she warped?

Reality warping as in being able to turn night to day, making strong gusts of wind appear out of nowhere, forming bombs out of nothing, invisible slashes that can at the very least cut through stone, etc.

Ah, I see. So it's a Pantheon-Type God? Like an Old World Universe where the sun and moon are chariot gods, the winds are gods, etc. etc.?

Basically.

Im going with Amaterasu, she was able to twirl a whole galaxy, create suns, reality warp, turn night to day and day to night, etc..

Amaterasu (Okami) vs Lavos (Chrono Cross)

Draw.

Now that's curious. Do you just not know anything about either of them?

I'll vote for Lavos, seeing as his landing created the Ice Age (wiping out one species), he can power a ship (the Black Omen) to fly for thousands of years (12,000 BC and onwards) and grant people immortality (seeing as Queen Zeal survived for those thousands of years), and when he wakes up, he can (a) warp the fabric of time and space to send people nearby to various times (the Gurus and Magus, for instance), or (b) wipe out another civilization. During Chrono Cross, once Lavos fully matures in his "Time Devourer" state, he can eat all of space and time. In addition, he is responsible for the development of the human race, and he's just one member of an entire species!

Comment - Its Chronotrigger

Lavos has good control of space and time, could just warp Amaterasu to prehistoric times or the distant future.

I'll go with the time-warping monster
