weapons are alright, but you got raven who could teleport and devil jin and devil kazuya. you also got bryan who is a cyborg. along with jack.(and the other jacks) sure they could use weapons but one hit from a tekken character is like half the lifebar for soulcaliber characters.

Soul Edge and Soul Calibur. Have you seen what these swords can do?

Most of the people on that list use magical/demonic weapons. How are you suppose to block a sword with a fist.

Heihachi is in Soul Calibur 2. The SC fighters dd not lose half of their lifebar to his hits in that game.

SC has several characters with magical powers, so I think that makes up for the other stuff. And Soul Edge has demolished entire structures and armies, so it's wielders are forces to be reckoned with.

The Tekkenverse has much of a chance of winning as they do blocking one of Siegfried's Stance Roulettes. Not gonna happen. Too much firepower in the SCverse for the Tekkenverse to fight against.

Wash, rinse, and repeat. The only thing you need in Tekken is good to have good excecution and good reflexes. Thats it. Theres no critical thinking or mind games. Just have good reflexes and good excecution. So you want to be the best at Tekken? Get good excecution, good reflexes, and a Mishima.

Soul Calibur, on the other hand, requires more thinking. Theres aloso MUCH more ways to play. Not just turtle, turtle, wait for a mistake, 50% life. Theres spacers, rushers, trappers, and 50% life Tekken turtlers (Sophie). There is SO much more action in a Soul Calibur match than a Tekken match its not even funny.

That being said, I enjoy both games.. but come on. Tekken is only more popular because it is a cooler game (which is true). It has a better development team and better marketing.

PS. Nightmare can solo the Tekkenverse.

The 2 Yoshimitsus team up and solo both universes then donate all the money they make to charity. I mean yoshimitsu is already strong enough but 2 of them? If that isn't allowed then Tekken Yoshimitsu solos Soul Calibur on his own just due to his tech. Technically Tekken should win though since they have superior tech. Plus people with counters could catch swords barehanded so it kind of negates the weapon aspect.
