What the thread starter seems to forget is that the Super Human Samurai Cyber Squad went into the world of the computer to fight viruses there created by a servant of the main bad guy.

They had no powers in the real world unlike the VR Troopers. They couldn't even fight outside of the computer whereas the VR Troopers had some combat skills in their human guises (or at least the main guy did).

They don't even need to transform, they can just walk up to the scrawnier pre-teens and beat the crap out of them.
