Mystic River was a great, well thought out movie
They had the best fitting roles for each character
Sean Penn- angry guy
Kevin Bacon- Police Officer

and Tim Robbins......... Haven't seen too many of his movies

I thought it was really sad. Also, what was the deal with Kevin Bacon not arresting Sean Penn's character? I guess was to promote that you could get out of murder...

I found it rather good, I agree with the above poster about the Actors fitting there roles. The only thing I didn't care for was the ending, I hated how that ended.

Even with the ending, in my opinion I would give it a solid 8/10

yes it was a good movie, but its one that i wouldnt watch over and over...Its like a once in a while movie, something you have to be in the mood for..
