New filler season comfirmed?

I might be wrong now, but after watching 125 I noticed that Yamamoto said that it would take about 4 months for the Hougykou to fully awaken.

Now I don't remember this for certain but wasn't it originaly 3 months in the manga.

If they really did extend the time limit, would this mean that they are planning on using that extra month on fillers?

No, this was said in the manga too, and they just.. zipped to the next arc. No time skips to fit fillers in (yet).
But I'm pretty sure there'll be a timeskip sometime, during a training arc or something.
EDIT: Just checked the manga, it's 4 moths too, but they still can snuck a filler arc in there. Each episode takes 29 minutes or so, minus flashbacks and intro/outro, cup, the summary, it should be about 20 minutes. If the filler arc takes say, 5 days, and they make it real time (like 24.. that would be so retarded) they can fit a whole session, no?

I always thought that there HAS to be a filler soon since the anime will catch up to the manga in a couple of months.

But the new OP seems to totally throw this idea out the window. It has spoiled major scenes from the HM arc so they seem to be diving right into the canon material continuously.

The only possibility left is that the current HM arc will end soon (which seems possible since things seem to be wrapping up with everyone in ichigo&co getting a beat down) and the fillers will come in between the HM and the winter war arcs.

I guess they have no choice and do a filler saga. I just expect something more... errr... event-filled than the bount saga. I'm at episode 100 and while it's a decent filler compared to Naruto, it's kinda meh -_-

I hope they go into HM in the anime then go filler crazy. I'd like to see amped up characters in the filler. (Sado-kun for instance).

May be impossible tho'. The manga hints at HM arc ending soon but who really knows but KT???

A filler arc wouldn't be bad, I actually enjoyed the Bounto-arc, and if they make it about that Wii-bounto, I'd be very excited :amuse.

Fillers are imminent given how quickly the anime is catching up with the manga. Good thing they kept the muppet trio around then...:-P

As for the arrancar from the Wii game, I wouldnt mind seein that. Would definitely beat how utterly lame the Bount were, but that character was exclusive for the game. Mind you, if they can work it, it'd make good viewing.

Despite what number of months Yamamoto put up. He still refers it won't happen until the Winter. Both manga and anime has this. So no, the time limit has not been extended.

As for fillers. I'm guessing we will see a filler arch before the current arch that is presently taken place in the manga.
