Nightbringer imprinted the fear of death on all sentient species in the milky way. Hell, according to 40k mythos, he's the one who inspired by the grim reaper motif. The C'tan will cut Cell in half with his phase scythe and eat any energy blasts the DBZ villain throws at him.

Nightbringer is nigh-immortal, the only thing known to kill them is another C'tan or a massive amount of Warp energy. Nightbringer feared a planet-scale explosion after his awakening, but he was faaaaaar from his full power at the time and feared being sealed again.

Add to that that Nightbringer is a reality warper - the C'tan are purely physical beings with no Warp spirit so they don't use psychic powers and cannot use the Warp at all. They are masters of the material universe and can shape the material world to their will as a psyker can shape the Warp to their will.
