In my previous post, the majority declared Bond the victor vs. Ethan Hunt. What about CTU's #1 agent Jack Bauer. This man is a one man army who constantly saves the world without a thank you. He was also captured and tortured by the Chinese army for 2 1/2 years and he didn't utter a single word. So you think take this fight. Any Bond (minus gadgets) vs. Jack Bauer. I think Jack takes this.

Sean Connery is made of too much win. Even for Jack, it's too much to handle.

Sean Connery and Roger Moore is pure epic.

Timothy Dalton wasn't a bad Bond to me either. It could be my Bond fanboyism talking though since I did like that Australian bond from " Your Majesty Secret Service." The movie where Bond actually settled down and got married, just for his wife to get killed on their wedding day.

tbh, I liked some of Pierce Brosnan's work(Goldeneye springs to mind). I hated Daniel Craig though...he doesn't even LOOK like Bond...

Bond always had that pretty boy look and Craig has that gritty look. I didn't see Casino Royale as of yet, but plenty of Bond fans are praising Craig as the best bond. Old school me would never choose these new Bonds to Connery and Moore.

Connery will always be the best for me. As for those who like Craig, they know nothing, because he lacked the suaveness (to be fair, it's Bond's first assignment and he can get away with it), gadgets and coolness that makes Bond, Bond. That and Casino Royale was totally hit and miss, some things were really well done, others bits were god awful.
On topic: Jack will certainly be a tough match for Bond, but Bond has outclassed the world's best many times before and he will do it again.

Narrowly inclined to say James Bond. It's difficult, as both are clearly supposed to have human limits and both basically shoot their way through everything in their path, but it's always seemed like in 24 Jack is skilled enough to deal with small gunfights and stuff, but never really goes up against something insane. The series is mostly plot, just with the assurance that when it comes to a gunfight Jack'll be all right.
Jack's best asset is ambushing foes, and I don't see it working against Bond. In that case, Bond's demonstrated just a little bit more by way of wild skills than Jack.

Jack has revived from the dead twice. That is one more time than Jesus.
A winner = Jack.
CSI brings the gay hardcore. Worst show and spinoffs ever. Ethan Hunt could curbstomp this bitch, why bring in Bond? He's fucking cosmic level.

Jack Bauer is more realistic, but more strategy. Bond gets alot of jobber.
Jobber Aura off, Jack shots him the moment he carelessly dashes away from his cover.

James takes him out with Judo, breaks his neck and throws him off a cliff. No gun will save Jack from that.

It will if Jack shoots him first
Or ever during the Judo
Jack is probably better hand-to-hand than James

Any incantation of James Bond > Jack. And very easily too based off his performance in Goldeneye, and other films.

:lmao
No he isn't.

Huh Jack Bauer is from 24 not CSI. No one from CSI is touching Jack, and Ethan can't defeat Jack.

Wasn't Bond also captured and tortured by the North Korean government for a couple of years? The thing I hated about the Brosnan bond movies was that the tech got too far-fetched... I mean it was almost sci-fi levels. But I did like Brosnan's portral of Bond.
Connery Bond is near cosmic level, so I'd go with him. And if you think Bond has jobber aura, the same could be said of Jack.

Well, Jack probably has better overall combat skills: James Bond does not know Judo- he only received basic training in it (along with Juijitsu and Karate, if I remember correctly). Bond does'nt usually show much skill in fights, relying on his wits, and his very, very hard punches (you know they are hard because they are so loud). Bauer has received more combat training, and is ex-Special Forces, so hand-to-hand combat is probably his.
Still, Bond is tougher than Bauer. Jack once went through a torture session in Day 2, and a few hours later had a heart attack, fell unconscious and caused his car to crash. bond was once tortured for 18 months, had a (possibly self-induced) heart-attack, then woke up, escaped an MI6 hospital/ prison ship, swam across Hong Kong harbour, and got his usual suite at a fancy hotel.
Jack is also prone to the occasional emotional breakdown, whereas Bond can go through a poison-induced heart attack, a ball-busting (literally) torture session (naked), betrayal by the woman he has fallen in love with, and come out of it all with no greater breakdown than "the bitch is dead." All on his first assignment, too. And he still was able to track down, shoot in the leg and interrogate a major international terrorist, all on his own.
Bond is also a genius, and one of the best shots in the world.
In the end, it all comes down to location. Bond has won fist-fights before, usually by using something in the battlefield (for lack of a better word) to his advantage, so if there is a specific location please tell me and I will formulate his strategy (or rather, tell you the strategy he would formulate). If it's a gunfight, Bond also wins (like I said: "...greatest shots in the world").
But, if it's straight up hand-to-hand combat, I'll give it to Jack. He'll have Bond beat there.

If you give Jack enough time he would kill ALL versions of Bond(Connery included..), stop an explosion and hostage situation and still have 12 hours left

Jack was captured and tortured for 2 1/2 years and went straight to battle. I seen Jack handcuffed and still defeat foes, uncuff himself, and then kill every single one of them with one handgun. Matter of fact if anybody wants to get technical, everything in Jack Bauer world happens in one day. You telling me Bond can do everything Jack does in one day? The man is a robot.

I've never seen Bond take down MULTIPLE criminal organizations, save a country, and not go to the bathroom or eat in just 24 hours.
Bauer shoots Bond the second he starts chasing ass.
Random Girl: "Hello there. And who are you?"
Bond: : "Hello. Bond, James Bo-" BANG!
Jack Bauer holding a smoking pistol: "America beats Britain again!"
