I'd just like to hear about some of the Great Anime/Manga or overall powerfull fictional characters, that have some scientific explinations(so not stuff like Cyclops eyes, unless people Give VERY good explinations)
First thing to come to my mind:
The Cruzniks and The Methuselas from Trinity Blood.
We get explinations to why the Vampires need blood, why Silver is a problem, how they can be stronger then humans, why they fear the sunllight etc.
If anyone got some questions about em, i'll see if i can answer them(THough i've only seen the anime, read part of the manga and readen summarys from the Novels)
P.S Remember to tell how the character would be physically possible in our universe.

Ok, you asked for it:amuse (Hope your ready for the reading)
In able for us to understand the story, we have to first understand what really happened 1000 years before the time in which Trinity Blood was set. The late author was able to leave scrapbooks and notes behind, which allowed us to see how he would have wanted the story to end.
It was around the year 2080, when the earth was experiencing a population boom. The earth already reached a population of 12 billion, and humans are finding it hard to allocate resources. Because of this, the United Nations decided to start a project that aimed to build colonies in Mars. They called this "The Red Mars Project" in which the whole world also participated.
Upon the arrival of the first batch of people in Mars, they discovered this strange, alien artefact. Soon, they found out that this artefact was indeed left by aliens long ago, and that it contained a very advanced technology, which they called "Bachilus/Bacillus". This Bachilus/Bacillus is actually a nanomachine, in which can be integrated into the body. It allows that person's body to adapt to the harsher conditions of mars. The colonies decided to integrate this into their bodies, of course and gave them the ability to survive the Martian environment. In a sense, they became better than an ordinary human living in earth.
Because of this, the world became very much interested in the Bachilus/Bacillus. Everyone wanted to be able to integrate such things into their bodies as well. Thus, the Armageddon started. This left earth in a devastated state, wherein most of the world was destroyed by nuclear weapons. Only the continent of Europe was left, as it was mostly affected by biological weapons, hence even cathedrals were left standing. The human race was close to extinction. (This occured around 2100 AD-ish)
When the first batch of human colonizers from Mars decided to return to earth (they were referred to as "returners") to try and see what has happened after the armageddon, they found out that the earth was a wreck, and all technology that civilisation has achieved was lost to the war. They helped the humans rebuild what was left. Life returned to the old days, a reminiscent of the medieval ages. Of course, these "Returners" have the Bachilus/Bacillus in their blood, so they are in effect, stronger and has a lifespan of 300 years.
The second batch of returners came and they were very much against the human race, and this brought about a conflict, which almost left the humans crippled. The returners did initially have the advantage. A war broke out betweenn the returners and the humans. This time came to be known as the "Dark ages". However, something occured to the Bachilus/Bacillus. Because of the difference in the various conditions between earth and mars, the Bachilus/Bacillus has somehow mutated into something that consumes it's host's red blood cells. This brought about the need for blood of the host. Another effect was that they became very sensitive to the UV rays from the sun, hence they are unable to wander about during daytime.
When the human race was losing hope, this Bachilus/Bacillus mutation gave an advantage to them. With the help of the "good returners", they were able to drive the rebel returners to eastern europe, hence at the setting of the Trinity Blood story, humans are living in western Europe, and the vampires, in eastern Europe. Some returners inhabit western Europe, but these are the ones on the human's side, or those that were unable to flee to eastern Europe during the war.
The time where Trinity Blood was set was the time after this war...
The Test tube babies were created solely to be in charge of the Red Mars Project when the colonizers will be in Mars. They were genetically modified beings and age 1.5 times slower than a normal human being. Lilith Sahl was born in South Asia, Cain in Berlin, Abel in London and Seth in America. (thought it was Canada?).
Another 100,000 people were sent to Mars, though their purpose is not to live there but, rather to prepare the Martian terrain for human inhabitants. At one point, several colonizers did not like their leader, Abel Nightroad for some reason. They plotted against him and they decided to lure him out of safe human grounds into the Martian wilderness. He was left alone and he was about to die as he was running out of oxygen, and only Lilith, came, in a car, to save him. However, Lilith's car broke down so they are both in danger. This is when they found a strange space ship and decided to explore it. The space ship saved them somehow from dying in the Martian terrains.
In the space ship, they found dead, preserved bodies of aliens. Some bodies seem to more preserved than others, in particular, the bodies of what seem to be the aliens with a high-ranking position. Their technology level seems to be extremely high as well, higher than that of Earth. This space craft came to be known as "The Ark". People took and examined the alien bodies. Seth was the one who discovered the Bacillus (Kudorak?) and another type of Bacillus which has a cross-shape, which she called "Crusnik". It is so much harder to 'grow' these Crusniks, so much more difficult than growing the normal Bacillus. They failed many times trying to grow these things.
There was a terrible incident in which Cain and another Colonizer had an accident during one of the project works. They were at dying point. Seth decided to inject them both with the Crusnik, in an attempt to save them. However, instead of saving them, it killed them both. Cain actually died... but after a while, however, Cain just suddenly stood up and became alive again. The other colonizer however, remained dead.
They also came to discover that the Crusnik only seems to be compatible with the genetically-modified humans (namely Seth, Lilith, Cain and Abel), so they froze the Crusnik to keep it and decided to mass-produce the normal Bacillus for the other colonizers.
Because the space ship discovery had such high technology, every other country wanted to gain possession of it. Among the colonizers were representatives of each country, and they all want to be the one in charge of the space ship. This started a Martian civil war, which eventually destroyed their space ship to return home, as well as their communication with earth.
Meanwhile, on earth, Armageddon is also happening for more or less the same reasons.
The Martians decided to build another spacecraft to return home, and this took well over 80 years. They modelled this spacecraft with "The Ark".
BACILLUS
For hundreds of years, the real distinction between a Terran and Methuselah has long been forgotten. The truth is, the Methuselah is just a Terran who happens to be infected with a Bacillus. In the past, this Bacillus would turn an infected into a "monster" or animal hungry for blood, nevertheless the Methuselahs refuse to be called "vampires". The term "Methuselah" was taken from Noah's grandfather who was rumoured to have lived for 900+ years. Not all people however are compatible with the Bacillus. If for instance, if you get bitten by a vampire and the Bacillus enters your bloodstream somehow, you do not necessarily turn into one. In fact, the likelihood is you either get your brain damaged, the Bacillus in your blood will be dormant and act as red blood cells or some other form of reaction.
Truth is, there are different reactions among people who are infected with the Bacillus. It needs to be "awakened" in order for its effect to take place. When it lies in your blood and is dormant, it looks and acts like a normal red blood cell. A methuselah may be able to walk under the sun and use silver at this point. This is the reason why these vampires have a memory of being under the sun and being able to eat using silver utensils. When the Bacillus awakens, it starts it's effects in the body. There are several main effects of the Bacillus awakening; Sensitivity to sunray, slowing down of the aging process, reaction towards silver and repressed reproductive system. These effects could happen over a period of time, or it could just happen in one go.
UV Light
UV Light increases the activity of the Bacillus in the infected's blood stream. It increases their activity so much, to the point that the Bacillus consumes everything in its path. This gives the image of a vampire, who is subjected to exposure under UV light, of "burning". The truth is, the Bacillus is just eating every single cell in the vampire's body. You could say that the Bacillus is consuming the vampire from the inside. The smoke coming out of an event such as this is caused by water vapour brought about by this chemical reaction, and not because the vampire is burning. An event such as this will only leave the bones of the vampire, looking as if it has been licked clean, and removed of it's bone marrow. When the Bacillus finally consumes everything, it consumes one another until they are annihilated.
Silver
Silver temporarily stops the activity of the Bacillus. This means that once it reacts with the Bacillus, it renders them useless, and hence the vampire becomes more of a human. The silver does not kill in itself, it is the fact that the vampire becomes more of a human, that stab or shot on the vital organs will obviously be fatal. Some vampires drink liquid silver in order for them to temporarily walk under the sun. This liquid silver is made such that it minimises the discomfort on the consumer's part.

I find real interesting stuff sometimes.
Did you know there are people who can pull boweing 747 jumbo jets.
people who can pull 100 ton trains.
people who can not feel pain cause they have no pain receptors.
people who do thousands of pushups in a few hours.
people who can run at 34 mph.
people who can take full strength blows to chest and head and not even flinch(its called combat ki karate)
people who take sledgehammer blows to the gut and punches and kicks at full force and don't get phazed(its called hard body training)
people who genetically have no chemical muscle inhibitor that controls/tells body to stop producing muscle, so these people can literally keep gaining more muscle at 2-3 times the normal rate without steroids(remember the "superbaby" in the news?!?)
people who are so fast reflexes that they can throw a punch at near 100 mph (normal people can only throw them at 22 mph and most skilled karateka can only do 25-35 mph all out.)
people who tap into their body's "natural" adrenaline system in time of life or death struggle and wrestle aligator/lift 2000lb car/lift tree of others/punch shark and kick its ass/ etc.
The human body sneezes at mph and blinks at roughly that speed(this means it is possible to have a reflex arm jab that fast. Only if you trained your reflexe super intense like the shaolin monks do.Their punch speed has been documented and recorded at 100 mph.)
Mas oyama used to one hit punch bulls.(this is videotaped and documented. They weren't really big bulls, but still good size bulls.)
Bruce lee, well just research bruce lee feats.
Did you know that the military is working on nano soldier enhancement;
it has built-in nano muscles for strength 5x normal, run over 45 mph, superlight, built-in computer to the suit with helmet that has built-in infared and nightvision, it has camofladge cloaking too.
It also has liquid armor coated into thin kevlar to it lightweight, easy to move unrestricted, and the material gets superhard when bullets or knives or anything traveling at high speed hit it.
All this is true.
As for vampires and crap like that. I doubt it.
Ghosts are real though, at least spirits and stuff, man, like souls and stuff.
Hogzilla "was" real, but now he's dead.
Bigfoot, I don't know cause maybe its real, maybe somebody yanking our chain about bigfoot. Who knows, as long as I don't have to go out there and look for that x-files type shit, I don't care, dude.
(The stuff way at the top posted above " All this is true", really is true.)

This explains how they exist in the story. Not how a vampire could exist in real life.
Unless of course you mean emo/goth faggots who think they are vampires and drink blood, but I wouldn't really compare that to someone like Abel who can fly and radiate lightning from his body while he manifests a massive red scythe from nothingness.

Guess i'll have to post more of the info i have then(was to long before)
The returners called their spacecraft "The Ark" as it was modelled after the Ark that they found on Mars. They successfully returned to Earth and found it in such a devastated state. The returners vowed to help their "fellow" human beings upon seeing this.
They looked for a relatively unpolluted place, which was Europe and some surrounding area. They parked their spacecraft above an African mountain (?). They created a lift/elevator from the Ark to the top of the mountain.
After a while, something happened to the Bacillus in their blood (as was explained earlier), perhaps because the Earth is closer to the sun than to Mars, and it increased theor activity somehow. This, of course produced the symptoms of vampirism. The returners were killing earthlings, in as much as they don't want to. This created the rift between the earth inhabitants and the returners.
Abel Nightroad
Abel is one of the genetically-modified humans designed for the Red mars Project. More or less, the same genetic information that was used to create Cain was used ti create him. He has the rank of a Captain/Commander (?) in the UNASF. This is above Seth's, but below Cain's.
His personality is that of very violent person, he hated people in general, hence the people in the project hated him too. It was only when he started having conversations with Lilith, that he became more humane.
Upon the return of the people from the Red Mars Project to earth, a returner was killed and attacked by accident by an earthling. This incident made Abel go nuts
What im hinting is, the explinations ain't that farfeched, i wouldn't be that suprised if the world of year 2080 was like that.
Nor would i be suprised if mans greates enemy was a machine.
Also The Cruzniks & Methuselas Weapons AIN't Comming out of Thin air.
They are Part of there Bodys.
In the manga you see Abel drawing out the scythe from his Hand(Manifests like 1 of Wolverines Claws) There Weapons ain't made out of bone,Blood or other normal stuff, But is made of Cruznik.
For the Methusela it seem to be around the same though seem to be closer conected to the body.
Well for Abels Abillity to fly, ehh simple he got wings

I'm not sure how you can say "Who can exist in reality", and then go onto deny someone like Cyclops but allow... Vampires? I think you are stretching this too much.
My picks: Agent Graves and the Minutemen from 100 Bullets. One of the best comic series I've ever read, and damn it if the Minutemen aren't the scariest people you could share pair of bar stools with. And they aren't out-there, either: They're just ice cold when it comes down to business.

THough i must admit the Cruzniks is at the edge of what i'd say is possible, since most of what they do is: "Manipulating Atoms"

So your saying that if someone comes up with some sort of fake scientific explanation that sounds plausible then you'd say it could exist?
....
Cyclops is a mutant, capable of projecting powerful beams of ruby red coloured concussive force from his eyes. The beams derive their power from sunlight; Cyclops' cells are constantly absorbing solar energy and transferring it to his eyes, which in turn serve as apertures which project extra-dimensional non-Einsteinian particles in beam form (in some stories, this means that his powers do not work when he is separated from the sunlight). Contrary to popular misconception, Scott's optic blasts do not project heat; rather, the beam generates pressure which can pummel and subsequently, if desired, destroy objects (though this power has occasionally been misrepresented in the comics and other media). These beams have also been demonstrated to reflect or bounce off certain surfaces, such as highly reflective metal (which has also been portrayed inconsistently at times). It was through this use of his power that Scott ensured the survival of himself and his brother when their parachute failed, by softening the ground beneath them.
Possibly because of a head injury suffered in this unorthodox landing, Scott was left unable to consciously control his powers - his optic beams are now constantly "on," and will project indefinitely when his eyes are open. This is explained differently in many stories; according to the original Uncanny X-Men portrayals, if Cyclops uses his powers for too long, he will become weak and run out of energy, using the Sun's energy to revitalize the beams once his visor is closed or his glasses are on. However, as Scott's psionic field is in tune with the energy of his beams, and as this field envelops his body, he is immune to the harmful effects of his own powers, causing the energy of beams to be absorbed harmlessly if they should come into contact with his body. Hence, he is able to block the beams simply by closing his eyes, with even the thin material of his eyelids being able to block his beams. To allow him to function in day-to-day life, Scott wears a set of eyeglasses made of ruby quartz, a material which is resonant to his psionic field, and hence blocks his beams in a similar fashion. In combat, Cyclops uses a specialized ruby quartz visor (built with a single, long lens, hence Summers' alias "Cyclops") housing adjustable apertures that allow him to control the size and intensity of the beams. Originally, Cyclops had to physically reach for controls on the visor itself for desired firings, but later models had controls wired to his gloves for more convenient use. In addition, the visor has a back-up spring-loaded function to shut its apertures in the event of a power loss while opened so he can at least see safely. It is also unclear between different portrayals whether or not the ruby quartz reflects the continuous beams, or whether the presence of the ruby quartz stops the flow of the blasts all together.
Well there's the explanation for Cyclops' power, but that doesn't make it any more plausible than vampires existing in real world.
I'd say Batman could exist in our world, even given the fact that he is in possession of ludicrous technology sometimes. Heck, anyone could actually become Batman, with a couple of billion dollars, intense physical training, and a nifty costume and utility belt. Oh and don't forget the genius level intellect.
Actually, I take that back. No one can ever be as good as the real Batman. He's the Goddamn Batman.

Thx for the explination Edward.
THough i still don't see how He can fire of those attacks without damadging atleast his eyes.
Nor do i get how he can seemingly fire unlimmited amount of that attack, theres just no way that could even be plausible.
You did't read my explination towards the Vampires right?
Since as i said the "Vampires" is actually just normal Humans which have a Nanomachine known as the BACILLUS in there bodys.
Galic to them is nothing, Faith towards them ain't that important(its more Willpower that would help), They do have reflections. Holy water ain't a problem(though during the day, if it washoff the Protectiv "skincare" it'll be leathall since the "vampire" would then be in contact with sunlight.
I supose someone like Wolverine, might be plausible aswell, to some extend.
I don't remember hearing an explination to he's powers, but a slower ageing and his healing abillities towards the adamantine in his body(though adamantine have yet to be found)
I don't see his abillities to be that unlikely.

By the by, just wanted to say: Scott Summers aka Cyclops absorbs solar radiation like a battery, similar to Superman. Here's the write-up:
Cyclops is a mutant, capable of projecting powerful beams of ruby red coloured concussive force from his eyes. The beams derive their power from sunlight; Cyclops' cells are constantly absorbing solar energy and transferring it to his eyes, which in turn serve as apertures which project extra-dimensional non-Einsteinian particles in beam form (in some stories, this means that his powers do not work when he is separated from the sunlight).
It is also unclear between different portrayals whether or not the ruby quartz reflects the continuous beams, or whether the presence of the ruby quartz stops the flow of the blasts all together.
The maximum force of Cyclops' optic blasts are unknown, but a commonly given description is that he can "punch holes through mountains", and he has been shown to rupture a half-inch thick carbon steel plate. During a particular battle, Scott says that he hit Cain Marko (a.k.a. the Juggernaut) with enough power to split a small planet, though he may have been indulging in hyperbole. In the mainstream continuity of the Marvel Universe, it has also been implied that Cyclops only utilizes a fraction of the energies at his disposal. During the Civil War: X-Men story arc, Cyclops is controlled by another mutant to use his powers at their full magnitude. When directed at the energy-absorbing mutant Bishop, Cyclops was able to overload Bishop's powers in a matter of seconds. It is also stated that Cyclops does not use his powers at such a level due to the preoccupation he has regarding his control (or lack thereof) of his abilities.
Hopefully that'll give you the science behind Mr. Summers.

Duncan Idaho and Gurney Hallek. Both are just ordinary men worth the rough equivalent of 100 soldiers in armed combat.
Reason: Duncan took out 20 sardukar soldiers, who on average were 5 times as deadly and soldier powered as regular soldiers. Gurney Hallek was Duncan's equal or better. This is at the point when Dune is still in the roughly human bracket (for physical, not mental, capabilities).

Most powerful character that could exist in our world? I would say that anyone with enough carisma, intelligence and ambition has the potential to become incredibly powerful.
Talking pure fighting strenght? Well, I guess this comes down to the individual opinion on what scientific explanations sounds plausable - which ofcourse is limited to the individuals knowledge.
Well, I guess Master Chief is believable to an extent.
