View Full Version : Idea about anime deviating from manga
Ok well we all know that the Anime is catching up with the manga at lightening speed, and that unless something is done we're going to see filllers pretty damn soon unless....they end the anime series within the next 5 episodes.
I was thinking, if Ichigo doesn't complete his transformation into a hollow the Vaizard will be forced to kill him, does anyone else think that the anime will deviate from the manga, he won't complete his transformation and they will kill him? This way they would be able to finish the anime series off in a satisfying way, without having to go through endless amounts more of filler.
What does everyone else think about this idea?
He completed it already in this week's episode 8[
sorry but the anime will still run...there are too many fans to let it stop.

How is Ichigo dying at a shit random place like that and then ending the series in any way "satisfying" as you put it?

You would prefer them to end Bleach prematurely and in a pointless way just to avoid a filler arc? That's a bad "idea" for many obvious reasons.

This is a really dumb idea...
That wouldn't be satisfying at all, you still have Aizen alive who is the main antagonist, its not satisfying until the main antagonist dies
And pretty much the lastest ep. shits on this idea and the opening.
Why would anybody want a premature ending to the series, just so they can avoid fillers, thats stupid.

Why would they deviate from the manga THAT much? The anime has good ratings. It would be stupid to end it with the suggested ending. :S

Sorry, but I'd rather have fillers than Bleach ending prematurely like that. There are too many good scenes that haven't been animated yet that I'd like to see animated.
Plus, why the fuck would the studio come this far in the series and then just throw all away like a piece of shit. Sorry, but I think Bleach won't stop until all canon has been animated.

1) Bleach has better ratings then Naruto, it's also one of the holy shounen trinity.
2) Do you think that would be satisfying? Main character dies patheticly, other characters don't do shit as tousands of people die and good guys lose, Aizen does an arrancar dance.

Am I the only one that liked filler arcs?
I know many people were waiting for main canon to continue so throwing shit on fillers, but heck, what would it be, if manga stopped and anime continued? I'd certainly would prefer that one rather than anime to stop.
Beside it is not frightening speed. 3 chapters per 1 episode. It was like that always. So by calculation anime will need to go to Episode 160 or so to reach manga if they go in 3-1 ratio. So that arc will be as long as SS arc.

Actually, that won't happen. Kubo's main source of income is the manga and franchise, not the anime.
