Well, I hope this is a somewhat even match. The amount of Redshirts matches the amount of people in Hogwarts. The Redshirts get all of the equipment they have been seen to be carrying.

it's not even. Hogwart's is filled with magical users, and it's staff has included a Werewolf, a half-Giant, and the occasional ███'s and minion's of a psychotic Dark Wizard. The Redshirt's only talent is to die.
Sorry, but Hogwart's take this with little difficulty.

The kids shouldn't be too much of a threat to even the Redshirts though. Plus their phasers are pretty useful in this scenario since the opposing side has no armor and the Wizards don't know what kind of weapons they have until someone gets vaped. The Redshirts at least have the element of surprise. Plus, regular humans can dodge some of the spells being thrown at them. Redshirts shouldn't be an exception.

If this is a battle, Hogwart's would likely be on their brooms, allowing them to move too fast and too high for the Redshirt's to hit (like they could ever hit anything). With regards to dodging, the Wizard's know some exploding spells, so let's see them dodge that.
The phasers will be null, anyway. Hogwart's- as I recall- has an anti-technology spell in place, so the Trekkies are stuck relying on their wit's and fists, which have never gotten redshirts anywhere. Even if this is not in place at the start, the wizard's can just cast a fresh one, so the redshirts have no chance.

"Redshirts" generally refers to the original Str Trek. The Q did not appear until Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Red Shirts have infinite numbers. No matter how many you kill, there will be more. Hogwarts loses eventually.
