I was just wondering is anyone has seen this season of the amazing race. Also, if you are going to be watching the finale next sunday.

Yeah, I've been watching for a few seasons; this one has been alright for the most part. Too many competitions have been decided by missed flights or other similar opportunities. I'm not entirely sure which team will end up winning at this point or rather I don't really care. Charla and Mirna's bi-polar performances have been insufferably annoying and that other team really isn't very interesting to the extent that I can't even remember their names, but I do remember that they hooked up from a previous season where the dude's frat team lost to the hippies. Long story short, the guy doesn't come off as prime boyfriend material and the coupling as a whole has been one of the least dynamic teams since I've been watching; it's like they talk to each other rather than talking with each other, which means there is no real interplay. So for those reasons, I'm going with the Beauty Queens, though what I really wanted was for Danny and Oswald to win the race.

True if Danny and Ozzy hadn't been so sucky in the last few legs then it would be a much better finale. Charla is okay but Mirna=Hate. So the beauty Queens are my best bet for a good win.

Well, Phil has been telling Dustin & Kandice about them being the first all-female team to win the race... and to think that I don't remember him saying that to Charla & Mirna. :amuse

I have to say that there could be a possibility that the Beauty Queens could get it. Although the preview for next week's ep suggests otherwise. :oh

As for Charla & Mirna, I don't really like this team (attitude wise), but I am rather amused that they stayed a pretty long time in the race. For me, they're high entertainment value.

Lastly, for Eric & Danielle, well, Eric had a past experience of being in the Final Three with Jeremy, although I can't see if he can pull it off with Danielle. It would be funny if he ends up in 2nd place... AGAIN. :laugh

It would be funny if he ends up in second again and hopefully to the BQ's and Charla and Mirna will be the forgotten team at the end but, I have a bad feeling about the finale.

We'll never know what happens in the finale. I mean, all three teams have proven that they can go that far. Although, as I said, I really want the BQs to win.

Eh, I made a thread for the last Race about halfway through and it died after about this many posts. This is probably a wiser strategy overall since there should be more hype at this point... Oh well.

It was really strange for me to see Danny and Oswald sliding from the top after being such a competitive team for so long. Charla and Mirna never seemed like that much of a threat, yet here they are in the top three; it's like someone surviving decapitation. They have an honest chance at winning, which is a bit scary.

Well, some people in other forums say that the cause of Oswald & Danny's downfall were the Beauty Queens. I don't think that's the case. They were just outwitted. And there's no such thing as "yield karma", as Mirna once said.
