Pairing sub-forum?

Everyone knows the "who do you think ____ will end up with" threads will never stop being made, so I think a mod should make a seperate section for them. Like maybe a sub-forum here?

Indeed. So the threads can stay anti-pairing-tard free. And people can debate in peace. And no one will be annoyed unless they choose to be. I'm surprised it hasn't been done already.

That could be a good or a bad thing,

On one hand it would be nice to have this place be free of those tard threads.

But also, I don't think herding them would really helpl much, just promote them more. =/

It probably would, but at least people will be able to avoid them if they want?

If there were a pairing sub-forums I see it as a place where people will just post to make each other angry and not promote discussions. Although, I suppose any pairing thread already has those people. Personally, I don't mind seeing pairing threads here or elsewhere, the threads are easy enough to skip over considering the obvious titles.

But I don't want NaruHina vs NaruSaku wars. That would not be something worth making a new forum for and getting new mods for it.

Actually, I suggested this awhile ago, mostly because pairing threads were taking over the library and HoU. Everyone was complaining. I talked about it with Spectrum and she agreed to bring it up in discussion with the other mods.

The idea got turned down because they don't feel it would be active enough despite pairings being one of the biggest things on these forums, the fanclubs serve as a temporary "pairings" section, and because they already have so many sub forums already.

So yeah. :(

It actually drives me a bit nuts after a while. I don't mind some but others are ridiculous. Like my old kyuubixnaruto pairing.

I have a ton of idiotic ones. Thats what boredom does to people.

Anyhow...a subforum would be nice, but I don't feel there's a need for it. Sure there are many pairing threads popping out of nowhere and most are repeats, but too many subforum makes the forum too clutter. :noworry

Why not just have it mixed in with the Pachinko Parlour sub-forum? Instead of the only place for game, it can be for pairing threads also. That way it save space. Beside, not like the Pachinko Parlour is a busy place ne.

yes...but all pairing threads are basically spam, thus not warranting a post count.

In addition to what AnimeGirl said, pairing threads are already overriding the HoU and library. They would override the games too.
