Aku can change into virtually any form he desires, from a giant dragon to a small insect, or even a beautiful woman ("Ikra")[3]. He typically changes into animal forms that are threatening to fit certain situations, such as a scorpion or octopus.

Aku possesses a wide knowledge of magic that varies from episode to episode as the situation demands. A few examples include: teleportation, magical attacks, summoning storms, and creating gold out of nothing. He requires no food, water, or air and is capable of interstellar travel. He also has the ability to ███ on Jack from a large sphere that he can summon at will in his tower.

Aku's body is nearly immune to all forms of common attack. If wounded, his wounds heal in moments. However, he is very vulnerable to Jack's sword which is capable of inflicting severe pain to him even from the slightest cut. Wounds from Jack's sword take much longer to heal than normal wounds, but they do heal in time. It has been repeatedly implied that Jack's sword is the only thing capable of destroying Aku; he is aware of this fact and often engages Jack only when he is weak, disarmed, or if he has no choice but to defend himself. Aku is also vulnerable to varying degrees to other forms of magical or divine attacks, (such as the powers and artifacts of Gods).

But Aku is basically indestructible. The major argument is if Blackbeard can absorb Aku. Aku is darkness of a different kind. The Pure evil darkness.

Oh and banishing is banned.

Honestly it goes either way though I don't see Teach getting beaten down Physically, seeing as he is more or less as strong as Shanks and Whitebeard.

Aku has ways to deal with someone besides beating on them. Like the laser eyes.

Anyway. I'm going to stand back and let this thread run it's course

He survived a gigantic fire attack from ace. He could handle pew pew lazorz.

Honestly we haven't seen much from Teach yet. After another fight I'd make a decision. All we know is that

1. Physically strong to the point where he can take Shanks and Whitebeard.

2. Asorbs Darkness and controls gravity

3. Nullifies other Devil Fruits, possibly meaning that his is the "King" of the devil fruits.

Even if BB controlled Aku, without the magic sword Jack has, Teach can't really do anything to him.

Only light can defeat darkness, supposedly.

Stop overating blackbeard. it's laughable to compare him to Aku in the slightest way. Aku solo's the entire Opverse if pis/cis is removed. It doesnt matter if BB can suck up cities, because when he activates his power he is vulnerable, hence Aku fires off an eye beam or magical beam and just vaporizes him. Incidentally, Blackbeard having the "power of the devil" can't be compare to Aku unless your willingly to make completly unfounded and unconfirmed leaps based on nothing for BB.
Aku's is the shape shifting master of Darkness. Aku comes from the original manifestation, and is a remaining/recreated/extension of it. The original manifestation was fighting GODS, threatening the universe and is pure cosmic. Not so ironically then, Aku cannot be killed by anything except jack's sword, which was forged by 3 Gods specifically as a means to fight the cosmic threat he is. Aku can tear portals open in time, warp reality, use high level magic,teleport, travel through space at what is presumbly lightspeed, spread himself through lands, etc. And Aku is being compared to F;ing BB.:laugh

Aku= Cosmic Level powers whose origins are linked to Nigh-omnipotent original manifestation of evil. Blackbeard powers= loose association of his power to blackholes and the devil.. without any true proof, as of now, of how "infinte" that may be in comparison to a being which actually has a record of being classified in a God category. Furthermore, it doesn't matter because Aku can do dozens of other things to rape Blackbeard.
