We have numerous occassins in the comics and EU of the Hutts resisting it. We have had one with a Todoyrian. And just to add, telepathy and telekensis were considered Jinn's weakpoints by Yoda. :s

Edit: Scratch that, Todyorians are related to the Hutts, it would make sense. Although Jinn sucks at mental manipulation still.

Again, which EU Luke is this? If it's the NJO era Luke, I don't really think this is fair since he has an absurd amount of TK power(pushing back artificial black holes) and illusion powers(he demonstrates this ability in Dark Nest where he makes his ship invisible with the Force). You also can't forget precog and speed.
