Well? What do you think? While guns wouldn't be terribly useful against Nightcrawler in the firstplace, this of course means that Alucard's only weapons are his claws, familiars, and swords (final released state).

In adittion to this, Alucard has no access to the following familiars:
Rip van Winkle
Tubalcain Alhambra (A.K.A The Dandy Man)
Luke Valentine
The Wallachian Army
So that pretty much just leaves Alucard and his dogs.

Go nuts.

...

This is overkill. Alucard wouldn't even need his final released mode to win this.

For one, Anderson couldn't take down Alucard's normal form with hundreds of blessed blades. Not only that, but I think Alucard's physical attacks are probably more dangerous than his guns:

Start there and read on for the next 6 pages or so.

I suppose if the blade is a really powerful holy blade that can one hit kill Alucard then Nightcrawler would stand a chance. Otherwise, he gets torn to pieces.

assuming that Mortalis hasn't read all of hellsing.....lol

but yeah for reasons about Alucard takes this, the only thing Nightcrawler has going for him is the teleportation but he has to leave it to attack and Alucard will catch on eventually

@Taleran: Assume whatever you want to, but I have read all of it and am still desperately waiting for the next chapter. :shakefist

And don't you dare post your spoiler of the next chapter in here. :amuse

But the fact is that Nightcrawler is more nimble then Alexander, arguably more skilled, has a better reaction time, also arguably a better combat speed, and can teleport to boot. Alexander only really beats him in physical strength, stamina, and his regen.

@Kage No Yume: Alucard's physical attacks are only more dangerous to the living (which in this case hold's true). Against the undead it does just fine.

And if you've read on you'd know that Alucard is nowhere near as immortal as people seem to think. Eventually, as the damage piles on and he becomes more excited (that sounds so wrong), Alucard will leave his first form, and the more states he releases, the stronger and more vulnerable he becomes.

PS: One other thing I forgot to add. Nightcrawler is bloodlusted. This is so that nobody raises the argument of him pulling a Luke Valentine and running away once a seal is lifted.

Sorry Taleran, I completely misinterpreted what you said before. :sweatdrop

The link I posted shows the first chapter of Hellsing. In it, Alucard catches several bullets and cuts a man's hand off at the same time. Anderson can somewhat keep up with Alucard's speed, so unless Nightcrawler has shown feats of equal or greater speed (dodging bullets after they're shot) I highly doubt he has a better reaction time or combat speed.

But as mentioned, Anderson sunk numerous blades into Alucard, cut his head off, and stabbed his heart, and Alucard got back up again. I don't think Nightcrawler would last long enough to drive Alucard past his first form unless you gave him a weapon that can kill Alucard in one or a few hits.
