A evil nerd being from an alternate reality teleports the two crews and ships of these two legendary captains. They're forced to fight it out in three battles, to the death, and would be revived after each round. The winner goes home safe, the loser's crew and himself will be slaves for Eternity

2) Picard, his ship is just ridiculously better.

3) Picard would bring Season 1 Wesley and just win. Season 1 Wesley with prep time can tangle with Urkel with prep, Batman, or even MacGuyver.

2. Hard to tell. Picard's is far more advanced, but I would imagine that Kirk would do something crazy that would probably take both sides out, so I'll go with a tie.

3. All I can say is: Data = immediate win.

2. Kirk wins the ship battle. Picard is a thinker, not a fighter. Kirk knows how to battle.

Kirk knows how to battle.The problem is that Picard's ship is so much more technologically advanced nothing Kirk could do would hurt it. Picard could just sit there and let his shields take everything Kirk could throw out, then fire a single photon torpedo and blow them up. All those extra years give him a huge advantage.

As far as hand to hand, I was more considering just Kirk vs Picard. Data is just too good for the crew vs crew fight.

You realise that Picard is the only Federation Captain to defeat a borg cube right? Also you realise in his youth Picard took a knife to the heart and LAUGHED.

Picard is more of a fighter than any one of us ever will be.

Oh and in regards to the Borg Cube, bare in mind that TNG Borg and Voyager Borg are different species. It is the only explanation for how wussy the Voyager Borg were. Totally different Borg collectives, yup.

lol feelings exactly. That or when Picard became Locutus he was so pwnsome he nerfed them just by being assimilated.

was so funny how one borg cube could take on battalions of ships then voyager even before upgrades seemingly got in fights with them all the time.

I should have specified, Kirk and Picard have the same ship in the Ship vs ship battle and the fist fight is between Kirk and Picard alone.

1. Kirk could knock Picard out pretty fast, Picard isn't that much of a fighter.

2. Ship vs Ship Picard wins. He's known as one of the greatest captains for a reason.

3. Data vs Spock, Data wins. Hell, Picard could match against Spocks wits

Honestly man, it isn't as cut and dry as that. Picard is one hell of a fighter. The only way it is a certain victory for Kirk in this bit of the battle is if he is shirtless. Shirtless Kirk will take out Picard.

im not that familar with kick so I might be a picard fanboy but he is just as much of a fighter as any other captain.

1) Kirk wins. I agree Picard is a decent fighter, but Kirk does it a whole lot more.

2) Picard wins. He can just do the Picard maneuver, and Kirk won't know what it is since it was invented hundreds of years after his time (I can't say his death, since that happened in a time travel movie).

3) Data and Wesley win this.

I hate Wesley, and besides that Data could win this alone with Picard.

Hrm, I didn't even notice #3. Alright, Wesley wins this one. Why? He freezes time until he figures it out. Bet ya forgot he could do that!

Oh and while Kirk fights more often I really cannot agree that he would have any real advantage over Picard. K'mpec named Picard his Arbiter of Succession and I highly doubt K'mpec (a Klingon for those who didn't know) would have named a human such if that Human hadn't proved themselves worthy.

Also Worf had Picard as his Cha’DIch after his brother Kurn was stabbed, I HIGHLY doubt Worf would have asked Picard to be his Cha’DIch if he didn't think Picard could handle it (keep in mind a Cha’DIch is responsible for answering the challenge of Klingon's in Worfs stead as at the time he wasn't allowed to fight due to the trial).

Of course then there was Picard in his youth when he took on 3 Nausicaan and was doing quite well for himself until he was stabbed in the heart at which point he looked down, saw the knife through his chest and laughed.

The guy can fight, probably better than Kirk.
