My return to thread making and it will be a series of similiar threads that might mark my final time creating threads here. I will be taking characters from my regular list and asking the simple question "Who can/cannot beat...". That simple. And since Burori was a topic of debate recently, I'll start with him. It will follow the format of my Who can beat Goku thread (which means there will be a list)

In terms of a canon DBZ character I'd put him on about Majin Vegeta's level.
Majin Bejiita >> SSJ2 kid Gohan > SSJ2 teen Gohan >> SSJ teen Gohan < Broly
He was about a low SSJ2, even weaker.

How do you figure? Teen Gohan was about equal to Dabura, who was supposed to be equal to Perfect Cell. And from what we saw from Broly in the first movie I'd definitely put him above Perfect Cell level.

Oh please, he isn't even on the level of SSJ2. If anything he is USSJ level which puts him below a far ways below Goku during the Cell Games and around Vegeta and Trunks.

Um, wasn't Goku at his Cell Games level when he fought him in the first movie where Broly showed up? He must have been for Gohan to be SSJ1 since they reached that level at about the same time.

No debating Burori, just list who can or cannot beat him people.
And Enclave, feats is what matter, not what level of Supa Saiya-jin he was. Unless you're okay with saying SSJ2 Goku > SSJ Gotenks...

Impossible. Leading up to the Cell Games Gohan and Goku both were SSJ 24/7 as part of their training, however during the movie both Goku and Gohan were in base form which means that the movie took place either before the Androids or after the Cell games. It couldn't have been after the Cell games as Gohan as I recall was the weakest Saiyan in the movie even though during and after the Cell Games Gohan was by far and away the strongest even without going SSJ2 so the only time the movie could possibly have taken place was before the Cell games.
Since Gohan could go SSJ though it throws everything out of whack.
Best to just ignore all the movies and characters as not existing really as that is the only way the continuity works at all.
edit:
Oh yea, Trunks was there also wasn't he? Ok, it must have taken place during the Android arc. Oh and if you notice Vegeta and Trunks never went USSJ so they hadn't done their training either.

Gohan didn't reach SSJ1 until the final training for the Cell Games, he didn't have that form during the Android Arc. After that in the final week yes they were both in base form, but there was no training after that point. So if Gohan was SSJ1, Goku had to be at the level he was at when he fought Perfect Cell. Do you understand?

You are not understanding the fact that right up until the Cell games Gohan and Goku both stayed in SSJ 24/7. They didn't revert to base form.
Also, explain how Gohan could possibly have been the weakest one there when if it took place when you suggested he would be even stronger than Goku, Vegeta and Trunks. Also Vegeta and Trunks would have used USSJ yet they never did in the movie.
I'm sorry man but it just doesn't fit at all.
edit:
Think of it like this. When trying to place when this movie happened the only thing that suggests that it took place after Goku and Gohan trained in the RoSaT is the fact that Gohan can go SSJ. Everything else however suggests that the movie is pre-Vegeta/Trunks go in the RoSaT for training. I would say that Gohan going SSJ is not enough evidence compared to everything else in the movie. Hell, there is even evidence that the movie is pre-androids due to the fact that the people in the city are not freaked out in the slightest and are living their lives normally (this includes the Z-Fighters).

Gohan didn't become stronger than the rest of the fighters until he reached SSJ2, until then he *was* weaker than the rest of them.

Wrong. Did you forget? When Goku was fighting Cell everybody was flat out amazed at Goku's abilities, everybody except Gohan. Gohan thought that Goku was holding back the whole time even though Goku was fighting all out.
See Gohan thought Goku was holding back because he was under the mistakened impression that his father was stronger than himself. Gohan knew he was faster and stronger than what Goku was doing so he logically assumed that Goku was holding back. Gohan was surprised when Goku told him he was giving the fight his all.
I suggest you re-read that part of the manga my friend.

people I see beating him
Dio Brando (JJBA Part 3) (in 1v1's ZA WARUDO is insanly cheap unless the other person can also stop time) (then its a simple matter of removing the head and done)
same with Enrico from JJBA Part 6 (Made in Heaven is fucking evil)
Higher Tier Gold Saints
possibly DS
thats what I got for a/m characters

Those who can
Millenniumon - no he's not omnipotent he just has a killer attack. Dimension Destroyer can seal Brolly up in another reality and then destroy him along with it.
Super Buu - He'd either pummel him or just absorb him to settle the matter because I doubt Broly is strong enough to face him.
Lord of Change - Of the Warhammerverse, this Greater Daemon of Tzeentch could simply blast Broly and transform him in to a hideous, mutant, freak!
End of Dragonball Z Goku - Since he'd be waaaaay stronger at Super Saiyan 3
Those who can't
Samurai Jack
Ash from Pokémon
Jack Baur
The Predator
The Xenomorph (The Alien)
Anyone from Dragonball Z weaker than Perfect Cell (or thereabouts)
Harry Potter
Undecided
Sabriel - From the book of the same title, she could simply send Broly in to Death and kill him quite easily...in theory.
Rand al'Thor - From the Wheel of Time...if he can hit with a Balefire stream then even Broly is dead. Of course, Rand will only get one shot at best.

If Gohan was actually stronger than Goku at that point why couldn't he do better than he did against Cell before he went SSJ2?
Anyway the exact placement of a movie within continuity never really makes sense since they're not in continuity, but for Gohan to be SSJ1 it would pretty much have to be after the training for Cell's tournament. There's also the fact that Vegeta didn't reveal he had SSJ1 until after Goku came down with his illness, and when he'd recovered from that he pretty much went straight into training. Just for them to have been all together the way they were it would have to be after that, it's what makes the most sense.

Some people place the 8th movie after the training, during the rest period they had before the actual games.

Trying to logically think when the DBZ movies take place is just a waste of time. The closest would have to be the 7 days Goku and Gohan rested as Super Saiyajins, although there are still some factors that don't make much sense. It explains the reason why Gohan didn't go SSJ2, and Trunks' long hair.
On topic: Flash, that guy from DB with the evil beam(if it hits) Super Buus , ZeedMilleniummon, Z with LHW!!

Yeah, I've always been of the opinion that any Super Saiyan 2 would give Broli a run for his money. Buu saga SSJ2 Goku and Majin Vegeta would probably be sure wins.

If you treat the Movies as its seperate Canon he would merk a lot of people in DBZ as his feats are more impressive. I see him beating a Ssj2 with ease. If you tie it into the manga anime canon shit gets confusing he would probably be weaker than the ssj2.
See it like GT characters really. Ssj4 Goku should be some god but if you treat them seperately he falls below Ssj Goku.

Broli's power level was higher than that of the z-fighters (Goku, Piccolo, Gohan Vegeta and Trunks) thus why he punked them. With that said, feats hardly do anything compensating acknowledgement. It would have to be a durability feat.
I can name several people at the top of my head that should be able explode planets with ease.

It's hard to say with movies.
They are like the opposite of GT - they get better feats for a given level sometimes.
So it's hard to figure out how we want to evaluate Brolli.
I think the best way is to assume cannon feats apply to Brolli, unless contradicted by a movie feat, as strange as that may sound.

Simply put and in dragonball terms, it's the one with the greater power level that would be the one with the more raw strength (that which is pretty obvious from whats showed). So basically Brolli, as diesel as he is, would lose to a much much smaller Gohan if the guys' power level were higher than his.
That's the black and white I'm referring to. And the movies sometimes don't make any sense. Gohan should of put a beating on Hildegarn if Goku managed to do what he did.

Which makes not a bit of difference as no knowledge of Burori's power level... or even Gohan's power level after Frieza saga is known (or anyone for that matter)

Point taken, but it was unneeded... mainly because not everyone who will be mentioned in this thread is from DB.
Simply put, can we just get back to who can or cannot beat Burori. The need to discuss DB's inner workings can be done in another thread.

The Brolly movies are heavily based off canon DBZ. We assume that everything that's true in DBZ is true in the DBZ movies, unless contradicted by something else in the movies.
The number of saiyans left alive in "Tree of Might" is contradicted by the manga.... but if we are talking about a character from Tree of Might, the manga is wrong instead.
Dr. Gero and Buu aren't in the DBZ movies, for example, but we assume that they are in their timelines because there is no reason not too.
Same thing with feats. Piccolo never used telekinesis in the movies (I don't tihnk so anyway), but there's no reason to assume that he movie can't in the movies.
