I just Got PhotoShop yesterday and aint very used to it yet.
But I'm working on creating my own Sigs and all. One of the tutorials I was following reccomended me Downloading Abstract and Grunge Brushsets.
I got both sets downloaded, but the question is How do I use them on Photoshop?

1) If the brushes are in a ZIP or RAR file, extract them first.
2) Open Photoshop.
3) Select your Brushes Pallette (it's location is different in different versions).
4) In the upper-right of that pallette, there is a little button with a triangle that looks like a "Play" button on an MP3 player. Click that.
5) On this new menu, about halfway down is a "Load Brush" option. Select it.
6) Navigate to your brushes and select them. Hit Load/Open on the dialog.
7) PS loads your new brushes at the bottom of your brush set. You should see them down there.
Alternatively, you can select your Brush/Pencil tool and right-click anywhere in an open document. When you right-click, it opens a miniature version of the Brushes pallette, complete with the little "Play" icon-looking button.

No problem at all.
I was actually unsure if the description would help: I was afraid I'd have to upload Screenshots and my layout of PS is all-custom, meaning everything's in a different place so I wouldn't be able to help.

If I'm not mistaken, a render should be a cut out image. For example, a picture or Naruto with no background or anything, just him so that you can use him in a sig or design or whatever.
