Now some points on pedophilia and the rules and beliefs of this Fanclub.

Most people who don't like this pairing think we like it because they think we like the idea of 26 yr old Kakashi having sex with 12 yr old Sakura.

And whether some of us like that or not, this club OFFICIALLY does not support any fanfic/fanart that does not depict sakura of at least 17 -16 and usually older.

And before someone gets pissed and starts telling me about 18 this and 18 that then I will tell you that yes, In the united states you need to be 18 to buy pornography, vote, and smoke. BUT in a majority of states you don't need to be 18 to have sex.
In fact the legal age of consent varies widely between 16 and 18 and in one case even 15. not only that young persons can get MARRIED in the united states, with parental consent, EVEN BEFORE THE LEGAL AGE OF CONSENT

That means in the state of New Hampshire if 14 yr old tiffany is in LOVE with 32 yr old Dave and her parents thinks it like OMG like the best thing ever, they can in that state get married...have sex...and subsequently have babies. as long as she goes to school or achieves an equivalent degree.

Not only that, many people on these message boards and across the internet and fan community, don't LIVE in America and therefore cant possibly be held to the same (obviously biased and unfounded) standards.

How can you point to someone in here who likes a story depicting Sakura as 16 or 17 and Kakashi in his equivalent age and then be stupid enough to call it pedophilia?
For one thing its NOT pedophilia, pedophilia is an adult being attracted to a person who has not obtained sexual maturity. therefore prebuscent.

lets talk about pedophilia because obviously people dont know enough about it. Pedophilia is an adult forcing his will on a child, the term for child in this instance refers to someone who has not reached sexual growth including but not limited too pubic hair, enlarged genitalia, body hair, inability to achieve orgasm, their hips have not spread, and breast growth.

Usually a girl or boy leaves their prepubescent growth at the age of 12-13 and starts to gain sexual maturity. when an adult or older youth is attracted to this age bracket it is actually called ephebophilia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ephebophilia) NOT pedophilia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pedophilia#Related_terms). If you are going to argue with us on this issue then please research this terms and try to have an understanding of them.

Men being attracted to teenage girls is a totally different thing from pedophilia because they are sexually mature and its not unusual for a male of the species, any species especially human, to gravitate towards a young recently sexually realized female.

It's a rant that I have embarked on several times and any american who wants to fight with me about it can first check their own state, what their legal age of consent for both sex and marriage is and then come talk to me AFTER they have written a letter to their senator.


This club in no way supports the act of pedophilia nor do we glorify the act of pedophilia.
To that extent any member who wishes to engage in talk of pedophilia acts will be summarily asked to leave and reported for deviant behavior. Any pictures or fanfictions depicting one person of below prepubescent age will be personally approved by me for quality and content.

From what i understand, the older male teacher/younger female student relationship happens a good deal more in Japan than in the U.S. I think the age range isn't as dramatic for those as it is for Kaka/Saku, maybe 24/16 there abouts.

I don't think sex would come into the pucture for the two of them, though, until Sakura was much older (if Kishimoto was writing it as canon.) An emotional relationship between the two pre-time skip might be possible, but I don't think Kakashi could be that perverted to make it physical that early.
