I wasn't sure if people would appreciate the fact that I killed off Sakura and am in the process of killing off Kakashi already in the first chapter.

You gave me two really wonderful ideas for the plot. A) have a series of independent chapters based on themes from different sonnets. B)Start each chapter with a journal entry written in first person, having Kakashi address Sakura, then transitionin to a prose story that will continue throughout all 12 chapters.

I think I'm going to go with B, but I would never have thought of that without your help so Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Has anyone tried writing in screenplay format before? :scratches head: What I mean to say is like in a "Nightmare Before Christmas" or "Corpse Bride" way. You know, narrative and rhyming and all that jazz.

If someone wrote a humorous Kakasaku set on Halloween -with the entire Team Kakashi peeps- like that, would you think it stupid? Or would you read it anyway? :hurr

To whoever asked about television in Konoha: I'd say yes, they do. During the chuunin exams, random shinobi guy popped in a tape for Anko to see, which means there had to be a TV for her to watch it with. Also, I don't know which chapter, but there's one that shows a tiny TV in Naruto's place. So.... yeah.

Portia: You... are an amazing writer. I'm a very lazy reviewer, but I'll definitely leave one once I read it through again. That was well written, cleverly done and who gives a damn if someone gets mad over character death? I thought it was a nice, bold move.

Ron: Are you talking about writing a script, like one that goes:

Narrator: 'Twas the night before Christmas...

Sakura: Don't go any further. Christmas sucks.

Narrator: Um... why?

Sakura: because SOMEONE forgot it even exists.

Anyway, if you're talking about writing it in THAT format, I'll be honest and say I probably won't read it. I MIGHT if you or someone I know is a good writer does it, but 9 times out of 10 I hate those fics. First, it's not a fic. It's a cop out for having to actually write real dialogue and scene transitions and such. Second, most of the time they're just really bad RPs someone posts online.

Now, if you're talking about writing an entire fic in prose a la 'The Ilyad" or something along the lines of what Shakespeare does... then hell yeah I'll read it! That'd be awesome and very, very different. But hard to pull off. It'd definitely be deserving of love and praise and "Wow, ron, you turn me on so hard core!" phrases.

Twas’ the night of all hallows on all Hallows Eve. In a village where civilians had dwelled for as long as it seemed. For the story that you’re about to read began with words that nobody took heed; a tale outside on the back of a deck that made a certain kyuubi-container almost pee…

“Y-You can’t be serious,” Naruto stammered, a frightened look in his eye, the fear behind his two sapphire orbs reflecting the pale moon hanging in the sky. With a gulp and a grip of the newly sharpened kunai in his hand, he turned to the left, to his false smiling friend.

“It is what I have read,” Sai replied, as he drew on a raised pad with a stencil set on a thigh.

A shake of a head came from Sakura’s direction, “No way that’s for real,” was her interjection.

A skeptic in every way, down to the very bone, the kunoichi continued, “That’s just made up stories here to keep people out of their homes.”

A small fragile child appeared in the doorway before speaking up behind a curtain, the black hanging hair making its features rather uncertain, “This village is haunted. I tell you it’s true. When mother was still alive, she didn’t know what to do. Father has called you all here to help in the celebration, but I fear for your lives. No matter your station. Shinobi you may be, but your jutsu will fail. For against ghosts and undead your skills no doubt pale…”

“H-Holy shit!” Naruto exclaimed as he backpedaled into Sai, “Did you two see him too? Did you get a look at that guy? I say we get the hell out of here. I so ain’t ready to die.”

“W-Wait a minute, Naruto,” An equally shaken Sakura remarked, before she let go of Sai’s arm she had wrapped herself around in the dark. “T-That could have been a prank or a really bad joke. Our client, Sawazawa-san seemed like really nice folk.”

Prying the blonde from his unimpressed person, Sai began to get up too before Naruto’s death grip could worsen, “Regardless, there is a slight chance that this could be true. I say we tell Yamato Taichou and Kakashi-sensei. They should know what to do.”

“Against ghost and zombies, you gotta be out of your friggen mind!” Naruto bellowed as he still continued to whine.

However, he too followed suit in the search. Still hanging onto Sai, Naruto forced his feet to give a good lurch.

Kakashi and Yamato had said they were going to enjoy a bath. Yes. Together. And yes, you do the math.

As the three finally neared the huge house’s bathroom door, Naruto shivered in his place as he gripped Sai’s one long sleeve even more.

Sai gave the blonde a look and a sigh, but would rather the male let him go if he was asked not to lie. Regardless, he reached out with the intent to open the door, but was stopped by a hit to the side of his head that made the pale shinobi rather sore.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” Sakura gave an angry yell as she was obviously fuming, a state of mind anyone could tell.

“Did we not come to tell Kakashi-sensei and Yamato Taichou the news?” Sai asked the woman who against he would always lose.

“Yes,” The kunoichi replied with a hiss. “But you don’t just go opening the damn door with a lady present!” She concluded quite pissed.

“Come on! Come on! There’s no time for that you two!” Naruto interrupted as he urged them to move.

Sakura turned her back as the whiskered male opened the door. And what Sai and he found inside made his jaw hit to the floor. For Yamato was massaging Kakashi’s feet on his lap! Naruto was left snickering thinking, “Oh god that poor sap!”

For everyone knew that the wood-user had it bad for the man he looked up to. It was really quite sad. For Kakashi would use him any chance that he got. He’d make him pay for food without a second thought.

‘Eh,’ Naruto inwardly shrugged as he spoke, ‘It’s his own fault for having a stupid man-crush the dolt.’

“Sorry to interrupt, but we gotta leave and like now.” The blonde paused as outside the house came a loud howl. From what exactly, he didn’t really know, but his words spoke his urgency, “I’m telling ya! For real, man, we gotta go!”

Oh, that doesn't blow chunks at all! In fact, I kinda like the story book formatting of it. The only concern here would be continuing the narrative throughout the fic and making it relavent. Some people might read it and go, "Okaaay... cute, but what's the point of a narrator segment?"

I don't know if you're familiar with the show at all, but "Pushing Daisies" uses this sort of format very effectively. The narrator gets to make quippy remarks about the characters and foreshadows events. If you've not seen it, watch it. It's really cute and maybe it'll give you some ideas on how to make your narrator voice tie in and be necessary to the fic.

But I guess Minato is ok with that and then tells Naruto about how Madara is the one behind the Akatsuki. He strengthens Naruto's seal, and then leaves. And Naruto re-enters sennin mode and escapes the glorified poke-ball. :nuts

Ron: Yeah, it definitely doesn't suck. While your stuff is always good, this'll be something a little different for you. More artsy, in a way. Another really good example of narrative voice is the movie "Stranger Than Fiction", though it takes the concept a bit literally. The easiest way to incorporate the NV into this fic would be to use it between scene transitions or POV shifts. You COULD try and work the NV into the entire fic if you wanted... but that might translate as those annoying a/n some of the younger writers insert in the middle of their fics to readers. So... again, something to consider there.

Okay, see the bit about Minato telling naruto that Madara is in charge of Akatsuki? THAT is a total cop out move. I was totally fine with Minato being there because of the 8 tail coming out and the seal breaking. He designed the seal that way, so it makes sense. But dude has been dead since LONG before Akatsuki came onto the scene. Unless Akatsuki was wreaking havoc back when Minato was around, thus giving him justifiable knowledge that Madara IS in control, I'm not buying it. At all. Or maybe it's just I don't really care for the dead-parent-figure's-ghost-comes-back-and-offers-sage-advice shpeal anyway. I don't know.

Having said that, however... you DID convince me Minato returning wouldn't be so bad. So, we'll see.

As for Super Sage coming back... I'm torn. On the one hand, I'm happy naruto had his ass handed to him. That was a much, MUCH needed thing there, to knock him down to "human" levels/relatability again. He was starting to go Stu for a bit there. And because of that I'm okay with him coming back and beating the crap out of Pain. However... I almost, ALMOST wish he did it on his own, without his unwarranted power-up abilities. Just him, straight up, kicking ass. To me, that would be a more stunning victory than him whipping out his phenomenal cosmic powers.

Wil: I am REALLY excited to see what you turn out for fanfic, especially since I think you said you don't really write it. Make sure you let us know when it's posted. Also... how are you doing? You've been MIA for a bit here.

I totally agree with you. When Naruto was having his mental breakdown and was literally pulling at his hair. . .I don't think I've ever been so emotionally invested in the manga until that point! The only scenario that could possibly top that would be for him to defeat pain on his own, no sage mode, no kyuubi, no special daddy-powers or anything like that. Just thinking about it makes me want to throw my fist in the air and scream for joy!

As far as Minato's knowledge of Madara working behind the scenes of Akatsuki. . .I think it's logical to assume that since Minato was the one who fought kyuubi head on the first time, and Madara was supposedly responsible for letting him loose on the village, he would somehow have realized it at the time. Maybe his 'spirit' just put 2 and 2 together and figured it out on his own. Anyway, it appears that Minato's cameo is over for the time being after this chapter.

I have some issues with this chapter, but maybe after reading the real thing and not just cell-phone pics and shoddy translations, I'll be able more willing to accept this outcome.

And can the picture taker PLEASE get her nails done differently? Their kinda hideous? What is it with Japanese girls and too-long, overly decorated nails?

Ah. Stripped Bare. Yes. Well.

... Well, not the biggest fan. I agree with a review I read that said it seems really OOC-ly unprofessional of Kakashi not to be more heavily monitoring the dancers and the men... with surveillance equipment and such things. Even if Yellow is apparently Mr. Uber Shinobi and would be able to dismantle/fool any technology, it was worth a freaking try! But as the person said, Kakashi just sits there and wallows in his angst... and don't get me wrong, I love me some angst, but this was... well, like I said in my review, tough. Of course I wasn't a fan of the nonconsensual sex -- no one is -- but at least it wasn't... violent. This story is, as we were warned, getting much darker... the last chapter I just flat out didn't like, but this one I'm... mixed about. It's very frustrating to learn that Yellow was living next to them the whole freaking time... GAH!

If I had known it would get like this I may not have started reading it in the first place, which isn't a slight against her writing because some people can handle this stuff and some people have a harder time with it, but now that I'm so emotionally invested in the story and remembering how much I used to love it, I don't think I can bring myeslf to just quit it cold turkey. I want to see this resolved, I want to see Kakashi and Sakura pull out some major ass whooping ninja action to show that yes, they are actually capable of doing their jobs without wasting time fucking each other in motel hallways, and yes, this Yellow and the enigmatically referred to "boss" will get their asses kicked into the dirt and be made to feel the pain that everyone in this story is being subjected to. So, although I brace myself with a weary sigh, I will see this story through... for now. It's possible it could get to the point where I would just have to stop so that I would not stay up dwelling on everything...

Sigh.

Nimbl, I LURVLED the fluff drabble to freaking BITS! If you post in on the FF I will fave for sure, but otherwise it just gets mixed into the Fic Recs email I send myself so that I can go dig it out whenever I want. And Portia, I am very excited about this fic you are starting. It's so original and like I said in my review, it's not easy to cope with the idea of our hot and steamy Kakashi, immortalized in his youth as he is in the manga, growing old to the point of clinging to life and becoming so dependent on everybody, but I get the feeling your fic will make it that much easier for me (and maybe others!) to cope with such inevitabilities. It reminds me of Benjamin Button how the mother on her deathbed hands her daughter a journal about her father. (If you didn't like that movie hopefully you will still take it as a compliment... because that's what it's intended as!)

So I've been kind of thinking of a new fic idea... no time to write about it now because my sister and I need to hang out now (and yes, it is in fact a need that we must fulfill, us addicts), but I'm tentatively excited about it. Maybe I'll talk about it more later/tomorrow, but for now I must be off! Ta ta!

Stripped Bare Thoughts... Sort Of.

I'm still trying to process Stripped Bare, which I guess is a testimony as to how intense it was. There was a whooooole lotta stuff that happened, and I need to give it a more proper read through rather than the quickie at work before I'll really know how I feel about it. I will say this; while it was kind of a given from the start this was gonna happen (because, no offence to J-Pop, a noncon scene like that IS a fairly standard plot device in this sort of fic. *cringes*) I think she did an incredible job of putting the reader in the moment. Krick: I'd heard they'd filmed episode 13 so that if the series ended there it would at least be clean, though you're right it won't answer any questions. And it really chaps my ass that it was not only an original show but a POSITIVE one... yet they keep crap like "The New Adventures of Old Christine" on the air. It's the standard sitcom formlua with poor writing, even worse acting... how the HELL does it pull in more numbers than "Pushing Daisies" Admittedly, the beginning part of the second season dragged a bit, but the last half was just as glorious as the first.

*sighs* If/When Brian Fuller starts his next project, I'm so there. I loved "Dead Like Me". "Wonderfalls" was cute. "Pushing Daisies" was phenomenal. I'm a total fangirl for Biran Fuller works. And rightly so. I never signed the dotted line but I've dated several military guys, including an ex-Marine who was just... guh... delicious. And guess what? None of them were freakin' meatheads who thought of nothing but violence and how many ways they could mess someone up. On the contrary, the few who HAD seen active duty would rather not deal with that sort of violence. Ex-Marine in particular was incredibly smart, very sweet and if he hadn't moved to Seattle I probably would have married his fine ass.

While I may not be military, I do get pretty heated up over stereotyping and acts of violence. Add to that the fact that I'm in the mood to rant and we're gonna have a fun night in this thread.

What really pissed me off is that people don't realize how things work for sexual harrasement in the military. Its different in the civilian world and that's why I had no idea about it until Portia thankfully enlightened me. I mean..

Like I said in the other post, the offender can't be 'fired' even if you accumulate proof and witnesses. He can only be, given article 15 -stupid paperwork- and possibly moved to another duty section within your base -or if your reaaaally lucky another base. (Depending on how many other victims he has at the time.)

He gets pushed out of sight -and out of the mind of the one's who have to deal with the incedent.

But here's the kicker.. He starts all over again whereever he is sent.

And like the guy me and the girls in my squadron turned in... he got sent to another unit but when he went to Korea.. he finally moved up to rape.

Its like a damn serial killer starting by setting fires, killing animals and peeping.. leave him at it and pretty soon he's cutting throats and stabbing eyes... Why can't they understand this???

Ok, I'm done. I gotta stop or my brains will explode.

Ok, to change the subject... I decided to keep going with the 'story book format' story. I'm just having fun making words rhym while still making the story flow. More short term cures are the water before bed + huge breakfast + get up EARLY and go for a walk in the cool morning air. If getting up early is impossible, get a freind to drag you out. Don't shower until you've come back from the walk.

Portia: Here's my hangover routine for those times I've not downed a motrin and a half gallong of water BEFORE drinking. Once you wake up and decide that you're NOT going to be sick, take a Motrin/anti-inflammatory and drink an 8 ounce glass of water... or a rough approximation of such. Then, start sipping at some orange juice or Gatorade. Gotta replace electrolytes. Depending on your stomach, either go all out with eggs, hash browns, sausage or bacon (grease stomach) or do pancakes with butter, MAYBE some light syrup, or toast with a plate of fruit (dry stomach). After eating, lie down on the couch and watch soaps until you fall asleep again.

Haily: The reason I'm like 90% sure that Sasuke will return is because Kishimoto looooooves that character. He has a hard enough time killing off Random Shinobi #37, so I doubt very much he'll let Sasuke get killed. It'll definitely come down to a Naruto vs. Sasuke fight, the outcome of which will go one of two ways:

1) Naruto beats the crap out of Sasuke. Emo King is on the ground expecting a death blow, Naruto says something meaningful and heroic and slightly cliched to the effect that that's NOT his ninja way and that all he's ever wanted was for Sasuke to come home and be his luff bunny safely. Sasuke smirks and does just that.

2) Sasuke beats the crap out of Naruto. He's about to deal the death blow when he has a random flash back sequence and realizes this is his friend. Naruto flinches... but Sasuke strikes the ground instead. Sasuke then gives some emo speech about how he SHOULD kill naruto... but he can't because he realizes nobody can blow him as good as Naruto can because they're friends. Then everyone goes home.

There's also the fact that though this is shounen, it's geared toward a rather youngish crowd (13-18, roughly) and it's fairly standard in shounen for that age group to NOT kill off any main characters. Trauma and scarring and all that.

What I think would be SUPERBLY awesome though is if Kishi did a plot twist where Sasuke sort of pulls and Itachi; pretends to be the enemy but is really a good guy or something like that. I doubt that's the case here, but it'd be interesting.

What I really want is it to end with Naruto being inducted as friggen Hokage with a newly built Konoha, with Sasuke having gone off to live his life with the peeps from Team hebi and Sakura deciding to stay in the village with her family and friends. She'd be Naruto's assistant and Sai would would their ANBU go to peep. Like how Tsunade loved to use Yamato. Naruto would have Hinata and Sakura wouldn't have anybody, but later on she'd end up having a one-night stand with Sai and end up bearing his half-shirted kid. The only kid the poor guy would have since he actually prefers guys. Sakura was just an experiment, but she's cool with it staying with him since he's actually bi. Updates for SB, HOC, And BOFR?

Why ladies, you're simply spoiling me. :hoho

I'm going to go against the flow and say I actually don't mind the dark waters into which this fic is sailing. Providing J-Pop can pull it off, I find it an interesting and unusual route to take. I predict a happy ending eventually (hopefully) but some seriously conflicted shit is going to go down between now and then. I'm not entirely happy with Kakashi even thinking about fucking a prostitute while Sakura is off being raped by a very dangerous man, and I'm not exactly comfortable with Sakura being raped and enjoying it - I know she was told to, and plotwise it makes sense - but that rubs some raw nerves for me. Then again, I reckon that's pretty much the point, and it might make a strangely more uncomfortable read if she had been hurt and distressed during the ordeal.

Dark fics are kinda my favourite though, and its hard to find well written ones, so I'll be following this one to the end.

I wasn't sure about it when silver originally skipped that chapter - because chapter 22 basically IS chapter 5 or something - but now that I've read it seen how perfectly it fits with everything and sheds light on things that might otherwise have been missed or taken for granted. For instance, that nasty look Kakashi gave her at the end of the chapter? If he'd done that in chapter five, we would have forgotten it by the time it was revealed he really was her enemy, and if we'd seen it at a point we didn't understand that, it would simply have made no sense. I always thought Sakura's aversion to Kakashi after that night was weird, but with the way we see kakashi behaved like a real asshole, it suddenly makes sense. I like the mix of dramatic irony and suspense in this story. Some things Kakashi does only make sense when you come back to it later. Some things he does only make sense to the reader.

But... as for being an asshole to Sakura, I can actually sort of understand him. He asked her if she would forgive him for anything, and she said yes, but when he tells her about letting Sasuke go, she very much gets pissed off. He obviously thinks she loves Sasuke, so I imagine she wasn't the only one who was hurt by the other's behaviour after that encounter. And poor Kakashi withdrew right back into his shell, which obviously only makes Sakura feel even more snubbed.

And Karasu's a devious bastard. What's he up to now? :pek

I haven't read it yet. :arg I can't bring myself to read it or else it'll all be over!

I loved Amelie - from which comes the original traveling garden gnome. I'd call it "quirky" and light-hearted in a very French w/subtitles sort of way. My husband liked it less than I did but he liked Lost in Translation better than I did.

Not sure how date like it is.

- have put myself behind 2 weeks of lectures I should write up

Some people never learn from their mistakes. Imagine my distress when RIGHT before school started I checked my email to see if some more people had commented on my status update when I see WHOA new chappy of HOC released. Definitely kept me going through the day, though!

I was happy to finally see what had happened with everyone. Hmm, Kakashi was being pretty bad, but Leona, I thought the same thing as you: she promised to forgive him for stuff! He tried to tell her something then, even though I doubt it was about Sasuke... more likely he was thinking about his Syndicate connections.

Which I still don't know what to make of. I hope he becomes good! I really do! And what was up with Karasu's smile, anyway? "An Opportunity for Scandal"... hmmm! Howe interesting... I wonder if Sasuke spilled any beans to Karasu...? Hmm, well, we'll see, we'll see... Or maybe he fed him some lie, and Sakura will get into trouble for something, gah, who knows!

Loved it! My only beef is that we didn't get to see it being revealed to Tsuki that Kakashi was his real dad. I'm excited for this Mizuage busy-ness.

Drawn kinda weird, but it was so surreal to see Yondy actually... talking. What a coolio! He looked like he was feeling some serious daddy angst for his son. If he saw some stuff happening through Naruto about Pain's battle, I wonder if that means his soul piece has been watching over Naruto forever? That would be kinda cool. :)

Thanks for all of your congratulations! Portia, it can be extemporaneous or written out, but I opted for reading selections of prose which I got to have in front of me. The only things I have to memorize are my transitions... nothing is ad libbed does. As for the Good Earth, I really liked it. Nothing riveting, but still a good book. Sad, but good. Some people find it really boring, but I liked it. :P

Weekend, yaaay... I didn't have a very good day, so I'm glad the week is over. We don't get spring break until Easter, so still a few weeks... *sigh* And sometime next week I'll have to make up driver's ed. Plus my schedule has been keeping me from making regular appointments with my chiropractor... Nimbl: I like my smut with a little deviousness on Kakashi's part. I can totally see him with this wicked crooked smirk, being a tease (dirty talk included. lots of it if I have my say) and refusing to do much of anything before he gets the other begging. Here's when you add the naughty component -> public place. With straight-laced characters like Yamato and Sakura who I don't think would be comfortable sexing where they could get caught, it'll be a dilemma - to give in and beg for some Kakashi, or to conserve propriety. The answer shouldn't be too hard now should it?

Break: Ooooh... the smirk. I love the smirk. Have you read Saiyuki? The whole damn main cast is full of smirkers, especially Sanzo and Gojyo. Freakin' hot pieces of male ass, that's what they are. And bad guy Nii is ALWAYS smirking... and he's openly doing his boss, so you get the smirk AND some sexiness. There's a general lack of female characters and it definitely flirts with the slashy line quite a bit, but in a fun tongue-in-cheek sort of way. Read it; this is the series that got me into anime/manga to begin with and is still my most favorite to this day.

I'll see if I can find where that picture of Sanzo's bare ass went. I swear to god I had an orgasm in the middle of the bookstore when I saw that panel.

As for your smut... I'll start it this weekend and MAYBE will tie in both Sakura and Yamato... and maybe a side order of Sai if I can wrangle it. We'll see.

Opinion for everyone: I did a Sai/Sakura one shot that I'm thinking of expanding into full out ficcage. The only problem is this: I've got four fics going right now, two of which I think I might have lost interest in and two that are overdue for updating. But I really wanna start this one. Ron: The two I'm just not feeling the drive for any more are two Saiyuki ones, actually. One is a Sanzo/Gojyo fic that I was writing for a friend, but I'm not really big on that pairing so I know that's why I don't feel like writing it. I feel bad though because it was supposed to be a gift fic... but at the same time I DO have another Sanzo/Gojyo fic that I actually really like (but it's not posted anywhere) that I might put out. That one is fun because while it's a yaoi fic... both guys are straight. I like the idea of having two straight men being sort of forced in a position where they have to do each other.

The other Saiyuki fic is a follow up to what I personally feel is my best work for that fandom ever. It's the sequel to "Dysphoria" and I know exactly how I wanna write "Anathema"... but the mood for it is really dark and heavy and it's hard to go from something so serious and dramatic to something as light and playful as "Double Edged". I DID do some writing for the next chapter of "Anathema" yesterday since I was in a mood, but I haven't felt the need to write it for almost a whole year. So... yeah. I'm wondering if maybe I should tear it down and just leave "Dysphoria" with an unhappy ending.

Sooo... yeah. I'm definitely thinking of scrapping the Sanzo/Gojyo one because I'm not into it (HAKKAI/SANZO, HELL YEAH!). And I COULD finish writing "Anathema" before starting on the SaiSaku... but "Anathema" is gonna be a long one, at least 16-20 chapters. *sighs*

Okay... gotta go to work now.

My novice two cents: Follow your inspiration Nim. As much as it's nice to write material people enjoy, it's ultimately something you do for your own enjoyment.

I think it's a shame that when writers get popular they start getting pressured from all sides from readers. "Please finish this now" sounds nice, but if you're not feeling the story, what's the harm in leaving it for later?

Forcing yourself to write material you are not invested in is a disservice to yourself, isn't it?

Portia: It's not really review/reader pressure so much as it is my OWN pressure. I haaaaate abandoning fics or deleting them. It chafes me like wearing rubber pants in summer. The only one I feel obligated for is the gift fic, but seeing as I'm writing a pairing I just do NOT see happening ever, ever, ever (minus severe amounts of drugs or booze) happening, I feel I can justify getting rid of it. But the other one... I've had it planned since the middle of its prequel and I do WANT to write it. But it's been almost a year since I posted and I've just not felt inspired.

They obviously need to be put in a challenging enviroment that forces them to work together to survive for a few days, but...where?

sorry for my bad spelling love, i meant to write CARAMEL, which is brown sugar melted with butter and corn syrup.
Then you pour it over pop corn stir it up, put it in the oven for a little bit then bring it out and crunch it into ball shapes.

then you have delicious sugary popped corn with a fantastic candy outer shell.

its alot like kettle corn except MORE sugary and the caramel gets stuck in your teeth.

Think like caramel dipped apples but less messy.
